DAILY REFLECTION LOG

Date: February 25, 2022

After 8 hours of teaching work,

1. I realized that instructional strategies are techniques teachers use to help

students become independent, strategic learners. These strategies become
learning strategies when students independently select the appropriate ones and
use them effectively to accomplish tasks or meet goals. We need to have variety
of strategies because it make students motivated and help them focus attention.
Also, organize information for understanding and remembering and monitor and
assess learning.
2. I believe that Effective lesson planning is at the core of a well-run classroom.
Failing to plan your lessons or have a solid outline for the day can lead to disarray
and disorganization on your part, which can in turn cause students to lose focus.
The strategies you use to create your lessons also play a role in how effective they
are. Lessons that are planned efficiently can free up classroom time teachers can
use to answer questions and address concerns. An additional benefit of good
lesson planning is that it inspires teachers to do what they do best. In turn,
students tend to respond to a well-prepared teachers by wanting to learn and
remain focused.
3. I feel that technology can make students active participants in the learning,
engaging in problem solving, mastery learning and conversation. They have the
control to make things happen and can play and replay activities, while
experimenting with variations.

4. When I become a teacher I will help the students generate their interest and
eagerness for more opportunities of learning in a conducive environment, making
all the individuals feel that they are being taught in their own unique way being
unique themselves. You are the leader of your classroom, and with that, power comes
responsibility and opportunity to shape minds and ideas. Inspiring your students to
perform to the best of their ability can be the starting of a fire that can help them
succeed.
