The maps illustrate significant changes in Stokeford from 1930 to 2010, notably the disappearance of farmland and the construction of new housing along main roads. Additionally, the center saw a large house converted into a retirement home with new blocks added, while the primary school was expanded. In Someland, from 1995 to the present, farmland was transformed into a golf course, and the fishing port was replaced by apartments, with restaurants taking over former shop locations, although the hotel and cafe remained unchanged.

The maps compare Stokeford in 1930 with that in 2010.
Overall, this land changed completely
over the period surveyed. As is illustrated, the most remarkable change was the disapperance of farmland in the whole region after 80 years. In addition. Along the main road running across the land from the North to the South, many new housed were built and people also constructed new houses along the new streets connecting the main road with other parts of the land in the West and the East. Another important change was found in the center of the land where gardens were made smaller and the large house inside this garden was converted into a retirement home with two new blocks added to it. It is important to note that people also built a residential area/ a housing community opposite the gardens on the other side of the main road. Shops on the left of the main road to the North were demolished to make way for new street. However, there was no change in the location of the post office next to the shops and the primary school opposite the post office on the other side of the main road. However, this school was expanded with two new blocks. The maps compare Someland in 1995 with that at present. Overall, this land has changed completely over period surveyed. As is illustrated, the most remarked change took place/ occured on the Northeast corner of the land where the farmland was convented into a golf course. In addition, people also cleared the forestpark next to this farmland and tennis courses were built on this site. Along the main road running across the land from the Northwest to the Southeaset, people built more houses. It is important to note that most major changes took place in the South of the land near the sea. To be more specific, the fishing port near the beach disappeared and as a result, the fish market facing the sea by the side of the road running from the West to the East turned into aparments. Shops opposite the fish market on the other side of the road parallel with the coast were replaced by restaurants. However, there is no change in the location of the hotel next to the junction of the two roads and the cafe opposite it although a new car park was constructed next to this hotel.
