1. This refers to your reques to conduct a Background Investigation
on Trece Martires City, Cavite to report as your Project in Fundamentals of Investigation and Intelligence. 2. This was assigned to me to collect and investigate on Trece Martires City, Cavite. II. FACTS GATHERED 3. The City of Trece Martires, with a total land area of 3,917 hectares is the capital of Province of Cavite. It is a 4th class city composing of 13 barangay’s named after the surnamed of the 13 martyrs.
4. Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan was assinated in front of a
hospital along the trece and indang road in Trece Martires on July 7, 2018 following this event, the Presidential Anti- Corruption Commission (PACC) initiated a graft probe parallel to the investigation of the Vice mayor’s slaying. Before the assassination, Lugiban was expressively intent to run for Mayor against Mayor de Sagun’s wife, Roniza. Melandres was intended to run for congress to represent the reapportioned 7th district consisting of Amadeo, Indang, Tanza and Trece Martires. Lubigan’s wife, Gemma, Became mayor one year later. 5. The City has an elevation of 100 feet above sea level. Although there are hilly portions, the greater parts of its area are generally plain. Slope ranges from 0-8 percent distributive in terms of hectarage, 1-3% having an area of 1606.15 hectares and 308% with an area of 2,310.85 6. The city’s labor force has 112,534 with an employment rate of 89.3% or 100,493 7. A positive relation and camaraderie between and among the officials, policemen and constituents have resulted to a relatively good peace and order situation in the city. 8.
