Let us not prolong the agony of waiting. To formally start our pageant, and for those
who are able, to please rise and pay full respect to our flag through the singing of our
Philippine National Anthem, to be followed by a doxology to be led by Miss Kathleen Ann S.
Salido- Teacher 1, and trailing on will be the singing of our Aklan Hymn, Ibajay Hymn, and
with heart and soul of a true blooded MNHS, the singing of our School Hymn, all through the

JAF: Good evening, Maloco National High School!

JHONG: Hello, every one! Are you all excited? I think they can do better than that, sir Jaf?
Are you all excited?

JAF: Yes, I certainly like that energy, sir Jhong! As we are currently live and in flesh here at
the beautiful Maloco Multipurpose Hall for Ms. MNHS 2024! With our impactful catchwords
for the whole celebration, MNHS: Sustains Excellence at 56! And mind you, sir Jhong, that
opening number, from the flashy outfits to the catchy tunes, disco fever surely get everyone
on their feet, right?, dancing the night away.

JHONG: Definitely, sir Jaf! All colors and glitters! Tonight we will bring you all – a
memorable night of elegance and wit as we stage our second year of beauty pageant
competition, tonight will surely go down the record book.

JAF: That’s spot on, sir Jhong! We will be witnessing our 7 lovely and carefully chosen
candidates vying for the most coveted crown and we will soon find out who will be the
worthy title holder.

JHONG: Everyone is truly looking wonderful tonight. It’s a privilege for me to be right here
on this very stage once again, hosting with you, sir Jaf. Last year is an amazing year and all I
can say is that you look absolutely striking tonight!

JAF: The same is true for you, Sir Jhong. Look at you! Wow! All I could utter now is wow!
And you know what, sir Jhong. This pageant aims to provide MNHS candidates to open and
widen their horizon in appreciating and discovering not just the outer beauty but also their
inner beauty as a student and as a person in general.

JHONG: I agree on that, sir Jaf! As we are one in MNHS when it comes in celebrating
beauty! Tonight, our eyes will be mesmerized and magnetized by our lovely candidates who
were carefully selected with the aid of our overall guidelines (read the attached guidelines
1-4)

JAF: (read the attached guidelines 5-7) And while our candidates are busy fixing
themselves for the start of our competition. We will have first the Reading of Pageant Rules
and Criteria. As much as our judges would undertake the difficult task of deliberating who
will take the crown tonight, our judges will be guided by a set of criteria which our organizers
believe the candidates should embody in order to be declared as Ms. MNHS 2024.

JHONG: With that, our overall criteria and percentage for judging are as follows:
Pre-Final : 70% - 30%
Production : 15% , School Uniform : 15%
Barbie-Inspired Look : 20%, Long Gown : 20%

JAF: Sub Total : 70%, Q and A : 30%, Total : 100%

JAF: And now ladies and gentlemen, with this year’s impressive batch of gorgeous
candidates, we truly need an exceptional set of judges who have the eye for exceptional
presentation and beauty that could truly represent the title of the Ms. MNHS 2024. Let us
now get to meet our incredible board of judges.

JHONG: Our first judge is an Assistant Professor III and Chairperson for Gender &
Development, also an acting Registrar of Aklan State University-Ibajay Campus. She has a
Completed Academic Requirements and On-going Dissertation for Doctor of Management in
Business Administration. The President of ASU Ibajay Faculty & Employees Association,
Inc. Head Committee of Search for Mr. & Ms. Tourism Ambassador for two consecutive
years, a Pageant Adviser of the BSTM Program for the Search for Mr. & Ms. ASU Ibajay for
two consecutive years, and a Resource Speaker of various seminars on Gender &
Development. Ladies and gentlemen, we have, the stunning, Prof. Santa Renea Crisostomo
Tubalinal.

JAF: Our next judge is a Teacher II at Solido National High School, Miss Numancia 2011 -
2nd Runner-Up • ASU-Ibajay Miss Hinampang 2012 -1st Runner- Up • Miss DepEd Nabas
2018 & 2022 • Aklan’s Ten Outstanding Mentor (ATOM) awardee of 2022 • Presently taking
her Doctor of Communication at the University of the Philippines Open University and a
sought-after host. She is no other than, the ever-lovely, Ms. Grichelle O. Pelayo.

JHONG: Next, we have tonight a SHS Teacher II of Ondoy NHS, a Masters degree holder in
2018, Mr. ASU-Ibajay Hinampang of 2011, district outstanding awardee in research and
innovation, 2 consecutive regional research qualifiers, a licensed Financial Advisor and with
various engagement in sports (coaching and officiating), the ever active and handsome, here
is, Mr. Romero M. Cardenas.

JAF: Our fourth judge is a SCHOOL PRINCIPAL- I of Agdugayan Elementary School,

She is Aklan State University’s MS. HINAMPANG of 2000, a 10th PLACER in the
Licensure Examination for Teachers in August of 2004. She is an individual that brings a
wealth of experience, knowledge, and expertise to the table, ensuring that our candidates are
evaluated with the utmost consideration, please help me welcome, the incredible, Mrs.
Arlene M. Senatin.

JHONG: Our fifth judge, is an Instructor of Aklan State University, ASU Creative Media-
Graphic Designer, ASU Website- Graphics and Design Artist, with Completed Academic
Requirements in Master in Physical Education Major in Sports at West Visayas State
University, Luna St. Lapaz Iloilo City, a Photographer/ Videographer/ Video & VFX
Editor, and a Member of UCCA. We are so lucky to have her tonight, ladies and gents, Ms.
Cassie Mae S. Ortalla

JAF: With her undeniable records, our sixth judge, is a School Principal I of Ibajay Central
School, TOP 6 in the whole Philippines in the Principals Test during the 2015 National
Qualifying Examination for School Heads, and a person whose expertise and discerning eye
will play a crucial role in determining our winner tonight. Put your hands together for, the
amazing, Mrs. Gracia Celeste M. Samson.

JHONG: And last but certainly not the least, our seventh judge who will complete our
extreme panel of judges tonight is an embodiment of a dedicated supervisor, we tend to think
back and reflect on the mentors who made a difference in our lives, then she is definitely on
top of it. She is one of a few who had a gift for leadership and continue to influence teachers
and others in today’s generation with her well-rounded characteristics. She is no other than
our gorgeous Public Schools District Supervisor for Ibajay East and West and will serve as
our chairman of the board of judges, give your warmest applause for the fabulous, Mrs. Idy
R. Pedrita.

BARLAK: MS. MNHS BEAUTY PAGEANT 2024
A. Over-all Guidelines
1. The candidates must be a bona fide student of Maloco National High School.
2. The pageant is open to all female students of the school. The planning committee shall be
responsible for screening the candidates in accordance to the rules and guidelines set by the
committee.
3. The contestants may have coordinator/s or handler/s who will accompany them during their
scheduled rehearsals, and other related activities.

4. Design of attires and costumes to be worn during the competition should strictly follow the rules
set by pageant committee head such as:
Production Number
Outfit: disco fever inspired outfit, Cocktail, glittery, any color
 SHS School Uniform (black shoes with heels, no props allowed)
 Barbie-inspired look , Dominant Color: Hot and Fuchsia Pink
 Gown  Style: no ball gown
 Color: any  A sketch of the gown is required to be submitted to the committee
5. The organizing committee has the right to call the attention of the candidates in cases of any
untoward behavior that would cause disturbance of the scheduled activity.
6. Most Photogenic and other special awards will also be judged ahead of time.
7. Candidates should have no records of minor and major offenses in their respective schools.
