Servo Tester (ACC007)

The Servo Tester is a very useful addition to the toolbox of any control engineer who has the need to work
with servos. It provides all of the necessary signal controls to make the servo operate over its full range of motion.
Simply connect the tester to a 6v power supply (eg battery pack) and plug in your servo to one of the three available
sockets. The servo can then be moved over its full range of motion by turning the control knob back and forth.
There is no need for any other controller or for any link to a PC. The servo tester is all that you need. It can control
up to three servos at the same time (each operating in the same way). As well as moving the servo in response to
control knob turning (Manual mode), the servo tester has two other modes of operation selected by pressing the
"Select" button next to the knob. The second mode is just a "neutral position" test. This makes any attached servo
go to its mid point of travel (good for calibration). The third mode is "windscreen wiper mode". This puts the servo
into automatic mode and makes the servo swing back and forth over its full range of travel just like a car windscreen
wiper. Three LED's above the control knob confirm which mode is selected. The basic specifications are as shown
below:
