Introduction

India’s weather has always been diverse, with its hot summers amd cool
winters. But lately, the climate seems to be changing more noticeably. This
project looks at the average yearly temperatures in India over the past decade
(2014-2023) to see how they've shifted. By studying this data, we can spot
trends and understand how climate change might be affecting daily life in
India.

Climate change isn’t just something we read about – it affects us daily. From
hotter summers to unexpected weather, the impacts are becoming worse.
Increasing temperatures affect farming, water supply, our health, and overall
quality of life. This analysis aims to help us understand how temperatures have
changed and what this might mean for the future.

Data Analysis

Looking at the average temperatures from 2014 to 2023, we can see some
clear trends:

Temperature Changes Over the Years:

 From 2014 to 2016, temperatures gradually increased from 24.89°C
to 25.37°C. This rise shows global warming, caused by factors like
increased emissions and deforestation.
 In 2017, the temperature dropped slightly, and the following years
saw a small decline, with 2020 being 24.9°C. This cooler period could
be due to COVID-19 pandemic, which reduced industrial activity and
pollution levels.
 The lowest temperature in this period was in 2021, at 24.09°C, which
might have been influenced by unusual weather patterns.
 However, by 2023, temperatures shot up to 26.15°C - the highest in
those 10 years. This sudden rise shows that the impact of climate
change is accelerating, and more extreme weather could become the
future.

Patterns:
 Even though temperatures have fluctuated, the overall trend shows a
gradual rise. Even with some cooler years, the general direction is
upward, highlighting the growing impact of climate change.
 The sharp increase in 2023 is concerning, suggesting that
temperatures may be rising faster than before.

What’s Causing These Changes?

The rise in temperatures is influenced by many factors:
 increased urbanization
 more vehicles on the road
 industrial emissions
 deforestation, etc.

Conclusion

The data from 2014 to 2023 shows that average temperatures in India rising
fast, with 2023 recording the highest in this period. This trend is more than just
numbers - it affects daily life, from how we grow food to how we stay healthy.

Addressing these changes is crucial. Actions like cutting down emissions,

protecting forests, and adopting sustainable practices can help slow down
these temperature rises. By paying attention to these trends, we can prepare
for the future and work towards protecting the environment and our citizens
from the effects of climate change. The future depends upon the steps we take
now to safeguard our climate and way of life for the next generation.
