MC SCRIPT
(The program will start any minute from now. All of the pupils,
teachers, parents and guests are requested to come here at the
venue and take your seats.)
MC 1: In many countries around the world, people celebrate United
Nations Day with national costumes, flags, and music performances. That
is because this day is a symbol of cultural diversity.
MC 2: This morning, as we celebrate United Nations Culminating Program,
we hope that we can help everyone understand that the main purpose of
our activity is not just to have fun but to bring us all together to work in
peace and development based on the principles of justice, human dignity
and well-being of all the people.
MC 1: A pleasant morning to all of you. I am ______________.
MC 2: And I am __________________.
Both: Your Emcees for today!
MC 1: To start with, let us all stand for a prayer to be led by ____________.
This will be followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.
MC 2: We are gathered here to celebrate United Nations Day with the
theme ____________________________________________. To welcome each and
everyone who are with us today, may I call on ___________________.
MC 1: Thank you, _________! And now, this is the moment we've been
waiting for! To bring us to the places we have never been, I want to call
on our pretty and handsome K1 pupils with their production number
wearing their __________. Let us give them a round of applause.
(K1 introduction and production number)
MC 2: Thank you, dear K1! Dance is inherently social, and it reflects a
society’s views about life. It can be an important mean of mutual
understanding. Now, we will witness the National Dances from different
countries coming from the Lower Elem, the Grade 1 to Grade 3 pupils.
MC 1: First to perform is the pupils from Grade 1 with their ____________
costume. Let us give them a round of applause!

MC 2: Thank you Grade 1! Let us give the floor for the performance of the
Grade 2 – Joshua with their Philippine National Costume performing the
Itik-Itik dance.
(G2 performance)
MC 1: Thank you Grade 3. For the last performance for the Lower Elem,
let us welcome the Grade with their _______ costume. Let us give them a
round of applause.

MC 2: Again, to bring us to the places that we have never been, let us all
welcome the K2 pupils to showcase the different costumes from the
different countries around the world! A big hand, please!

MC 2: Thank you so much dear pupils for letting us see and appreciate
the dazzling and appealing costumes of the different countries of the
world.
MC 1: Dance is a form of art and it emphasize the expression of
emotions, ideas and specific narratives through movement. To entertain
us, let us all welcome the Higher Elem pupils to showcase the
Interpretative dance starting with the grade4 pupils.

MC 2: Another interpretative dance will be presented by the Grade 5
pupils.

MC 1: Last but not the least, our Grade 6 pupils. Let us give them a round
of applause.

MC 2: That was such a wonderful performance! Thank you, so much dear
pupils, for the presentations!

MC 1: At this juncture, we will honor and recognize the pupils who
excelled in the different individual and group awards. May we request

certificates to our awardees. We ask the awardees to come on stage when
you hear your name and receive your certificates.
