Marhaban Ya Ramadhan

Assalamu 'alaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatu

First of all, let us express our thanks to the presence of Allah SWT for
all His blessings and gifts. Finally we have arrived at the holy month of
Ramadan 1446H, may Allah forgive all our sins and always bestow all
His virtues and blessings on all of us.

Shalawat and greetings are always poured out on our Prophet

Muhammad SAW, who has guided us from the realm of darkness to the
realm of bright light in this world and the hereafter.

On this occasion, I would like to deliver my speech entitled: The virtues

of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Fasting is refraining from eating and
drinking from sunrise to sunset.

The holy month of Ramadan has a special place in Islam. Therefore,

the Prophet Muhammad SAW and his followers really cared about this
glorious month.

In Surah Al-Baqarah verse 183 Allah SWT says:

Meaning: "O you who believe in Allah SWT, it is obligatory upon you as
it was obligatory upon those before you, that you be pious."

Fasting was ordered by Allah SWT to the people of the Prophet

Muhammad SAW and likewise to the people before them. According to
a prophetic hadith, every pious deed of Adam's descendants is
rewarded with a reward between ten times and seven hundred times,
except fasting.

In this case Allah SWT says:

"Fasting is for Me and I will reward you according to the level of

sincerity and sincerity in carrying out the fast."
The Prophet Muhammad SAW advised Muslims to fast seriously and
avoid actions or words that could break the fast or even not break it at
all. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW gave an example in his famous
history with his words:

"Whoever does not fast, then for him there is nothing but thirst and
hunger."

In the holy month of Ramadan, every Muslim is advised not only to

refrain from eating, drinking and sexual relations, but also from sins
that can be committed through the ears, eyes, heart and lips.

"If my people knew the virtues of Ramadan, they would want the whole
year to be Ramadan."

And it is true that Ramadan is the month in which the gates of heaven
are opened, the gates of hell are closed, and the great devils, all of
them are shackled to help Muslims worship Allah fervently.

In line with that, he also invited his followers to enliven these nights by
looking for a special night called "Lailatul Qadar", where angels led by
Jibril descend to earth and pray for believers.

May we all receive rewards and carry out Ramadan this year well and
smoothly, aamiin yaa robbal alamin.

That's my speech, sorry if there are any mistakes, thank you for your
attention.

Wassalamu 'alaikum Warohmatullahi Wabarokatuh.
