Fourier Transform
• Fourier series and Fourier transform are tools for frequency-
domain analysis of signals
• For periodic signals, Fourier transform reduces to Fourier series
• For periodic signals, the Fourier series coefficients are the values
of Fourier transform evaluated at discrete frequencies:
