1. Content Standards The learners demonstrate understanding of the key

2. Performance Standards The learners will be able to formulate real-life
problems involving measurements and solve these
using a variety of strategies.
3. Learning Competencies Approximate the measures of quantities,
particularly the length, weight and mass, volume
and capacity, temperature, time and rate (M7ME-
IIa-3).
4. Learning Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students will be able
to;
a. Identify the different units of
measurements for volume and capacity.
b. Write down the appropriate units of
measurement used to measure volume
and capacity.
c. Appreciate the importance of estimation
and measurement of volume and
capacity in daily life.
