Project Sankalp, GSDM’s one-of-its kind
industry-led Vocational Skilling programme.
GSDM has set the stage for revolutionizing
vocational skilling in the state and India at
large.
In the post CoVID-19 scenario and in line
with our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of
making “India the Global Skill Capital” with
globally competitive skills and competencies,
GSDM has channelized its skill effort

Project Sankalp is a pathbreaking initiative by GSDM


towards reshaping the way vocational skilling is
perceived and acknowledged in Gujarat and the
country at large. With Project Sankalp, GSDM has
positioned Gujarat as a leader with respect to
innovation and foresight for transforming the skill
landscape.
GSDM has taken considerable strides towards
catalysing vocational skilling, to provide real-time job
experience and industry aligned training curricula. This
programme will enable the youth with the ability to
compete in the local and global job market and help
India in establishing itself as the “Skill Capital” of the
world.

Gujarat has been a frontrunner in skilling since


2009 owing to its innovative programmes that
have become key milestones in the India Skill
narrative. With Project Sankalp, GSDM and the
Govt. of Gujarat have given their commitment to
provide aspirational and industry aligned
vocational skilling to the youth in the state.
We are committed to integrating improve the
quality and quantity of jobs being offered to our
youth. Our focus will strongly remain on engaging
with local industries and incubate barefoot

The Gujarat Skill Development Mission is


committed to transform the skilling ecosystem in
the state and aims to act as a convergence
platform for making vocational skilling
aspirational and implementing outcome-based
quality programmes accessible to deserving youth
in the state.
One of the flagship initiatives undertaken by
GSDM is the Project Sankalp, which is a
programme for the Industry, by the Industry, in
