c. write the correct sequence of events in the story presented.

NOAH’S ARK

Once upon a time, there was a good


man named Noah. God told him to build
a big boat called an ark and gathered all
the animals. It rained a lot and flooded
the whole earth. Noah, his family and the
animals stayed safe inside the ark. When
the rain stop, they came out and saw a
beautiful rainbow. God promised to never
flood the earth like that again.

Do you like a story, class?

Now, class. What is the title of the story?

Very good, class! Noah’s ark, teacher!

Did you know, class that in order for us to


easily understand the story, we can apply
sequencing events in the story.

Now, I will demonstrate how to sequence


events in the story and after that, you will
have an activity. So listen carefully and
pay attention to me.

E. Application

Now let’s have an group activity. The


class will be divided into two groups,
each group will receive a short story.
Your task is to illustrate the sequence of
events in the given story that I’ll provide.
Arrange them by putting numbers 1 to 3
and then post it on the board according
to their sequence.

DAVID AND GOLIATH

In a small village, a small boy named


David was kind hearted. When a giant
named goliath threatened the village.
David, though not big or strong was
brave, with a sling and a stone, he faced
the giant and won.

Second Group

THE BIRTH OF JESUS


The angel Gabriel appears to Mary,
announcing that she will conceive a child
by the holy spirit. Mary and Joseph travel
to Bethlehem, where Jesus bringing gifts
and acknowledging the significance of
the miraculous birth.
