About the
Institution
Balaji Law College, Pune was established in the year 2003. Balaji Law College (Affiliated to
Savitribai Phule Pune University, recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra & Bar Council of India),
under the auspices of Sri Balaji Society, Pune upholds the Society’s philosophy of Discipline,
Dedication, and Determination. It is an upcoming institution to cater to the contemporary
requirement of the society to have trained Practising and Corporate Lawyers. Within a short span
of its inception, Balaji Law College has successfully catapulted a position in the legal education
sector and has stood the test of time in creating Judicial Officers, Legal Advisors, Prosecutors
and Corporate Lawyers, who are well placed in the industry.
Balaji Law College ensures that its students get an opportunity towards holistic development
and leaves no stone unturned to provide them with all the facilities, amenities and ambience
required for their versatile development. The peace and tranquality of the campus are ideal for
intellectual pursuits. The acoustically designed lecture hall with a terraced and ergonomic
seating arrangement and equipped with teaching aids, including a full‑fledged computer lab
with latest machine, provide the most modern and comfortable premises for higher learning.
Theme of the Conference
The Conference on Social Transformation in India seeks to delve into the intricate and dynamic
process of societal change in one of the world’s most diverse and rapidly evolving countries.
It serves as a platform for scholars, policymakers, activists, and students to engage in insightful
discussions on the historical, cultural, economic, and political forces that have shaped Indian
society and continue to influence its progression.
India’s social transformation embodies a delicate balance between tradition and modernity.
From colonial‑era reform movements and the fight for independence to the socio‑economic
shifts ushered in by globalization, the nation’s journey has been marked by resilience, conflict,
and adaptation. This conference will examine the impact of these changes on various seg‑
ments of society, with a special emphasis on marginalized communities, while addressing
pressing challenges such as urbanization, migration, climate change, and advancements in
technology.

Call for Papers
Authors are kindly encouraged to submit research papers and
abstracts. Also, high quality research paper describing original
and unpublished result of conceptual, constructive, empirical or
theoretical works in all areas of “Social Transformation in India”
are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. The con‑
ference solicits contributions of abstract and papers that address
themes and topics of the conference including reference and
research materials.
Submission Guidlines
Authors are requested to submit a soft copy of their papers through email at
[email protected]
The authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines.
1. Every paper must include the title of the paper, name(s) of the author(s) and their affilia‑
tions, residential country, email address and the contact number of the author.
2. The research paper must be in a Word Document Format, Time New Romans, 12‑point font
size with 1.5‑line spacing, 1‑inch margins and APA style of referencing.
3. The word limit of the research paper is limited to 5000 to 8000 words and must include the
following꞉ Title, Keywords, Objectives of the study, Methodology, Finding/Conclusions/ Impli‑
cations/ Recommendations and References.
4. Abstract should be limited to 350 words.
5. Keywords should not be more than five.
6. The institute has a strict anti‑plagiarism policy; therefore, the author must ensure the origi‑
nality of the work.
7. Plagiarism below 10% shall be accepted. Authors to share plagiarism report along with
papers.
