What is ProTecht® NFC?
ProTecht® NFC is a moisture-activated cooling High Compatibility
technology. The cooling performance occurs through
an endothermic reaction when moisture, such as sweat, Easy Application
is absorbed into the fabric. The effect is immediate and
can achieve up to 3°C of cooling. NFC is specifically Cost Effective
designed for 100% cotton and cotton-rich fabrics.

How is ProTecht® NFC ethical?


We take the utmost care in validating and utilizing the best materials, systems, and
procedures for the sourcing, processing, and manufacturing for each of our technologies.
ProTecht® NFC has been evaluated and certified by an extensive list of safety standards
organizations to provide out partners along with brands, retailers, and mills with the
necessary transparency and confidence while also further validating that the product is
safe for workers, wearers, and the environment. ProTecht® NFC is readily biodegradable
and does not cause skin sensitization.
How does ProTecht® NFC function?

Untreated Fabric: 30.7°C NFC 0x Wash Fabric: 27.9°C NFC 20x Wash Fabric: 28.4°C

When moisture is absorbed into the fabric, it provides an immediate cooling


effect that is caused through an endothermic reaction.
The cooling effect dissipates when overheating and sweating have stopped and
once the body temperature has returned to normal, leaving a cool sensation.
