- T shows a set of pictures (p.69) and sentences describing different situations
related to equality.
c) Outcome:
- Ss express their opinions, justify their stance, match sentences with pictures, and
discuss key issues related to equality.
d) Procedure:
- T draws Ss’ attention to the heading and pictures on page 69.
- Ss work in pairs to discuss the pictures and match the sentences to the
corresponding pictures.
- T invites some Ss to describe each picture and explain their matching decisions.
- T transitions by saying: "Now let's explore more about these issues in our next
reading activities."

2. Activity 2 (10 minutes): Read the text and circle the correct meanings of the

4. Activity 4 (15 mins): Work in groups. Discuss possible solutions to one of the
problems.
a) Goal:
- To help Ss be able to talk about the problems and solutions for them from the
lessons and ideas they have learned from the previous activities.
b) Input:
- Ss work in groups and discuss to answer questions.
- Ss develop their own ideas and opinions on the matter and present the ideas to
their classmates.
c) Outcome:
- Ss review the knowledge that they have learned.
- Ss come up with their own opinions and ideas of the problems and their solutions.
d) Procedure:
- T asks Ss to work in groups (of three or four) and ask them to brainstorm idea
about what can be done to solve one of the following problems:

+ Low pay for women
- T observes and help Ss when they need supports.
- Each group appoints 2 people:
+ A speaker (to act as a representative to express the group's ideas)
