Prefixes: Using Un-,

Re-, and Dis-


A prefix is used at the beginning of a word to change the meaning of the
base word.
Prefix Meaning Example
un- not unhappy
re- again recycle
dis- opposite of dislike

Directions: Write the prefix un-, re-, or dis- to change the word’s meaning.
