CALL TO ORDER
The Presiding Officer called the table to order at 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon. A minute of prayer was led by SK
Member Gelyn C. Geneva and was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the Leon Hymn.
ROLL CALL
Since there is an attendance sheet signed by the members as they come inside the session hall and the presence of
a quorum was determined, the roll call was dispensed with, therefore the Presiding Officer declared a quorum.
READING AND ADOPTION OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES
The minutes of the previous session dated January 6, 2024 was read. There being no corrections offered on
motion of SK Member Lalaine C. Calawigan duly seconded by SK Member Lyniel C. Caballero the body was approved.
BUSINESS FOR THE DAY
A. Resolution Approving the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP) for the CY 2024
The Presiding Officer present the Annual Budget Youth Investment Plan for the year 2024 with her SK Officials. She
explained every detail of the proposed activities that have been suggested by the SK members with regards to the
platforms that was timely and relevant to the platforms of the Sangguniang Kabataan. The presiding officer asked the
members of the Sangguniang Kabataan if there were additional PPA’s to be added to the Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Plan. The body agreed in the PPA’s proposed of the presiding officer and there no any additional activities to
be added.
On motion of SK Member Adrian C. Cabana duly seconded by SK Member Hazel C. Calambro Resolution No. 2024-01.
Resolution Approving the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP) for the CY 2024 has been approved.
B. Resolution Approving the Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Maliao with an amount of
Two Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand Seventy-Two Pesos and 80/100 only (232,072.80) for the year 2024.
On motion of SK Member of Althea T. Candor duly seconded by SK Member Lalaine C. Calawigan Resolution No.
2024-02, Resolution Approving the Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Maliao with an amount
of Two Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand Seventy-Two Pesos and 80/100 only (232,072.80) for the year 2024 has been
approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-01
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PLAN OF THE
SANNGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY MALIAO FOR THE CY 2024.
WHEREAS, as stated in Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1 series of 2019, the SK Secretary shall submit SK Annual
Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP) to Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality through the Municipal Budget
Officer.
WHEREAS, to make sure that every detail of the budget is organized and systematic.
WHEREAS, to prevent any technicalities regarding budget and plans organization.
NOW, THEREFORE on motion of SK Member Lalaine C. Calawigan duly seconded by SK Member Lyniel C.
Caballero.
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved the Resolution Approving the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan of
the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Maliao for the CY 2024.
Approved and adopted this 3rd day February, 2024 at Barangay Maliao, Leon, Iloilo, Philippines.

RESOLUTION NO. 2024-02
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF
BARANGAY MALIAO WITH AN AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND SEVENTY-
TWO PESOS AND 80/100 ONLY (232,072.80) FOR THE CY 2024.
WHEREAS, as stated in Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1 series of 2019, the SK shall deliberate on the proposed SK
annual/ supplemental budget and shall be passed upon approval by the majority of SK members.
WHEREAS, as stated in Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1 series of 2019, the SK has a budget of 10% from the general
fund of the Barangay for the fiscal year.
WHEREAS, the budget is needed to implement the proposed PPA’s of the Sangguniang Kabataan.
NOW, THEREFORE on motion of SK Member Hazel C. Calambro duly seconded by SK Member Gelyn C. Geneva.
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved the Resolution Approving the Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan
of Barangay Maliao with an amount of Two Hundred Thirty-Two Thousand Seventy-Two Pesos and 80/100 only
(232,072.80) for the year 2024 has been approved.
