REQUEST FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SUBPOENAE AD TESTIFICANDUM

The HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, through its PROSECUTORS, respectfully requests for the issuance of subpoenae ad testificandum requiring Nestor Conato (Conato) with office address at: ABS-CBN Broadcast Center, Sgt. Esguerra Ave.
corner Mother Ignacia St., Barangay LagingHanda, Diliman, Quezon City,

Philippines, to personally appear before the Impeachment Court on February 21,

2012 at 10:00 a.m. or on such date and time as may be determined by the Honorable Impeachment Tribunal at the Senate Secretary, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City.

Conato is to:

1) Testify regarding his personal knowledge of the press briefing conducted by SPD Acting Director S/Supt. James Bucayo NCRPO CIDG chief S/Supt.

Joel Coronel on the release of the warrant of arrest of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on Nov. 18, 2011;

2) Identify and authenticate the video recording of the following: a. The attempted escape of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on 15 February

2011;
b. The statements made by the Public Information Office of the Supreme Court relating to the TRO; and c. The manner of compliance on the conditions set in the TRO, including the manner of securing payment of bond, statements made by lawyers of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Juan Miguel Arroyo on the flight bookings and payment of bond.

3) Testify on the circumstances surrounding the events above mentioned;


and

4) Testify on the allegations contained in the Verified Complaint, and other


pleadings filed by complainants, and other matters relevant to the instant case.
