1. What are the main reasons for you wanting to change careers or consider a move right now?
Across the world, there is a sense of warmth and a need to go beyond guest expectations. Another
distinguishing factor is the application of Business Excellence Model .The essence of this framework is
about running a business effectively and efficiently, which has enabled Many companies (including us)
to continually improve operations and achieve world-class standards.The above said reasons while
creating a niche in Hospitality services with an opportunity to get assigned in better growing
organization with better professional future growth.
2. What has been your biggest or most significant achievement/accomplishment in the past 5 years?
I am a fan & a strong believer of the words: respect, communication, appreciation and solution creator.
My Managerial Experience span over 17 years in the hospitality Industry. I’m a committed 'hands on
Person' to get the Job done. Being BHM (67%) from SCHM,Mangalore University and MBA(87%)from
AIMA,Delhi,Posses a strong managerial background which covers all aspects of operations such as
Financial Management, Forecasting, Budget Preparation, Sales promotion, Accommodation, Food &
Beverage, Administration.
Acted as an independent profit center head of the Line & Matrix Dept. viz. F.O./Sales/F&B Dept. Ensuring
smooth execution link between Guest - Sales – Services While Maximize Profitability and improved output
efficiency with an overall smooth operation among various units in East Africa.We as a Team has achieved
occupancy rate of 85% which is up by 10% in respect to last financial years. Similarly the ARR & Rev Par
was increased by 10%.
We have reduced the HLP cost by 5% and Food & Beverage cost by 10%.However the sales figures has gone
up by 10% as compared to last financial year's figure. Retrieving and ensuring total customer satisfaction
after undertaking a SAP and ETOP analysis. Strategic implementation of CRM.
3. What has been your biggest mistake, challenge or failure to date and what did you learn from it?
Sometimes telling the bare facts to the top management has put me an embarrassing & unpleasant
situation resulting in the circumstances which forces either me to leave the organization or the
management to ask me to leave the organization.
I’ve now learnt to reconcile with the prevailing circumstances ,situations & atmosphere in the
organization & only to highlight the short comings when the top mgmt wants to know about it.
4. What is your ideal future career plan and what’s most important to you?
My ideal future career plan is to serve the hospitality industry in away to maximize profits to
Mgmt & best services to guests. The most important to me is to be at the top.
5. What would you say are your key natural strengths, skills and abilities?
My Key Strength is to strive for an excellence in Hospitality industry by increasing sales to many
folds, Enabling the organization to maximize the profit with best available services to guests .
6. What would you say are your natural weaknesses and most under-developed skills?
Being perfectionist at times it does bother to my colleagues which is my only weakness & most
under developed skill.

The Private island ,Zanzibar & Hotels &Lodges(T), Because of the patience & trust ,reposed in me
by the boss on various issues raised by me with regards to profitability of the organization.

The best Boss is our present CMD.Mr. Kotak ,Because of the patience & trust ,reposed in me by the
boss on various issues raised by me with regards to profitability of the organization.
