1. How did you feel as you observed in the classroom? Did you feel a
sense of oneness or unity among the learners, and between the
teacher and the learners?
During my time in the classroom, I noticed a safe and
productive environment that accommodates various skills while
addressing the individual strengths and weaknesses of each
student. There is a strong sense of unity among the learners; rather
than competing, they assist one another and foster friendliness. I
observed a group of students engaged in discussions, sharing their
knowledge and ideas, with some helping their peers to grasp the
lesson and activities better. Additionally, many students actively
participated, even if they were unsure of the answers, as their
classmates offered support. There's also a sense of togetherness
between the teacher and the students, as the teacher aids her
pupils by patiently teaching and answering their questions,
facilitating their understanding through inquiry. This dynamic
fosters a positive relationship and enhances interaction within the
2. In the future, how would you want the learners in your classroom
to interact? How will you, make it happen?
In the future, I hope for my classroom learners to engage with one
another and with me in a positive and respectful manner. To make
each lesson more interactive, I incorporate questions, assign group
tasks or activities, encourage collaboration, and ensure that all
students have the opportunity to respond, thereby enhancing their self-
esteem and boosting their confidence. Interaction is crucial for both
teachers and students, so I will strive to create a welcoming and
peaceful classroom atmosphere where students feel safe and
comfortable, allowing them to view the classroom as a second home
and actively participate in a way that aligns with the lesson objectives
and subject matter. I will also work to make the class enjoyable,
ensuring that students remain engaged and do not become bored. By
doing this, I will better understand the skills and abilities of each
student, fostering an environment where they not only enjoy learning
but also build positive relationships with me and with each other.

1. While you were observing the learners, did you recall your experiences
when you were at their age? What similarities or differences do you have
with the learners you observed?
Seeing these learners reminded me of my childhood. I see both similarities and
differences. Like the students I observed, I was often noisy, sought attention, moved
around a lot, and sometimes lost focus during lessons. I would ask the teacher many
questions and enjoy helping classmates. However, we didn't have the benefit of
modern educational aids like television. We relied on traditional methods such as
blackboards and real objects for learning. Nowadays, students are fortunate to
experience both traditional and modern teaching methods, including PowerPoint
presentations with images to enhance understanding.
2. Think teacher you cannot forget for positive or negative reasons. How did she/he or not help you with
your needs (physical, emotional, social, and cognitive)? How did it affect you?
One teacher I’ll always remember is my high school math teacher. She didn’t
just teach us numbers and symbols; she motivated us to learn from our mistakes
and encouraged us to be better individuals. She instilled humility and bravery in
us. Her teaching helped me and my classmates appreciate math, and I still
cherish the connection we maintain today. She inspires me to become a teacher
who makes a difference in the lives of my future students.
We've all had that unforgettable teacher who made learning enjoyable and
easy to grasp. They helped us navigate our challenges while nurturing our
personality, boosting our self-esteem, and contributing to our physical,
emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
