Former Director on Indirect Tax of M.A.T.A.

TRAINER PROFILE
Holds a Master Degree of Business Administration (Finance) from University Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2010, Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Finance) and
Diploma in Accountancy from University Technology MARA (UiTM) in 2008 and 1988 respectively. He is an Ordinary Member, ex-committee and former Director of Indirect Tax
section of Malaysian Association of Tax Accountants (M.A.T.A.), certified by Wadi Makkah Knowledge Company as MAQAM Master Trainer, he also HRDCorp’s (known as HRDF)
Accredited Certified Trainer and Certified Malaysia GST Compliance Assurance Program (MyGCAP) by JKDM.
He started off his career in 1990 as an Accounts Officer with the Institute Technology MARA (ITM) where gained extensive experience in finance and accounting and maintaining
full sets of accounts. Later he moved to a Japanese based company where he was in charge of all Administration and Finance functions which include Human Resource
functions. He later joined a Norwegian based Oil and Gas company as a General Manager. Unfortunately, the Norwegian company moved its operation to Shanghai, China forcing
him to initiate his first step in training, coaching and consulting services mainly in Indirect Tax (GST/SST) and Finance/Accounts scope.
He brings with him more than 30 years of hands-on working experience in accounts and finance as well as in admin and HR for various types of business entities and
industries. Currently active in conducting and handling training, coaching and consulting online and offline programs related to indirect tax scope. Appeared live in several
local media (Bernama & ASTRO Awani) in addressing the impact, mechanism, implementation and compliance of GST and SST.
Currently actively giving course on E-Invoice: Awareness, Compliance And Implementation Strategy and latest E-Invoice Implementation : Streamlining Business Processes and
other programme are Sales Tax 2018: Exemption Facilities and Scrap/waste Disposal Management, Service Tax 2018: Implementation and Compliance Management, Basic
Accounting for Small Business and Cash Flow Management for Small Business.
