Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco and was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs.
In 1971, Jobs met Steve Wozniak, who was five years older than him but and they connected through a shared
passion for electronics. Jobs briefly attended Reed College but dropped out after six months.
At the age of 21, Jobs and Wozniak founded Apple in his garage, funding it by selling Jobs' van and
Wozniak's calculator. By making computers smaller, cheaper, and accessible to everyday users, their company

in 2011. He passed away later that year, leaving behind four children and a legacy of innovation.
