Dual Enrollment at FSW

● Registration for the Spring 2025 term at FSW is now open. For any student
interested, the deadline to apply for dual enrollment at FSW is November 22.
● December 2 is the deadline to register for classes during the Spring 2025 term

local Rotary club to help our community.

Garden Club meets on Saturdays across from the bus ramp! Learn to grow sustainably!
They have an organic garden, fruit forest and hydroponic towers! New members are
welcome. See Mrs Shaw in Rm 260 for paperwork and club information. Dues $20.00.

Global Studies Club: Campus Community Garden Club is

Hispanic Honor Society will meet every 3rd Thursday of each


month. Room 184

National English Honor Society (NEHS) National English Honor Society meets on the
second Thursday of each month at 2:45 in Mrs. Seaton's room. (215)

National Honor society will prepare and cut bread cubes for the SWFL community
Cooperatives Thanksgiving Feast. This is a Service project for NHS members only. Look
for sign-ups in the NHS google classroom. You must sign-up in order to attend!

Key Club: Key Club meets every Monday in Ms. Bendezu’s room 162 from 1:45 PM to
2:30 PM. It's a great way to earn service hours for Bright Futures, become a productive
member of society, and participate in service projects and leadership opportunities.
Ceramics Club taking applications in Room 154. Will generally meet on Mondays after school.

The DECA Business Club will once again be running a drive to support Project Sutton. The kickoff will be December
2nd when we return from Thanksgiving break. This year we will have 2 ways to support our community through the
change competition and giving tree.
1) Holiday Change Competition- Teachers may request a donation bucket in their classrooms to collect spare
change. More details coming- we raised the bar from donuts last year….. Well INFLATED it this year!!
2) Giving tree
All proceeds will benefit CCHS students and families in need.

Florida Future Educators of America Club Join the Google Classroom for details and important updates: 4wkahcb.

Attention Seahawks: Are you hungry? The class of 2028 SGA is


selling sweet and salty snacks before and after school in room 220.
Options include hot (spicy) chips, pringles, Famous Amos cookies,
and chocolate bars. All snacks are cash only. Stop by 220 and grab a
snack on the way to class or the way home!

Fundraiser held by the Class of 2025 Attention students! Beat


the heat with delicious ice cream! The Class of 2025 and I are
excited to announce that we will be selling FatBoy Ice Cream
Sandwiches and Drumstick Ice Cream Cones after school to raise
funds for our upcoming events and activities.

● When: Every day after school (until sold out)


● Where: In front of Room 113 (near the bus ramp)
● Cost: $1

Art for Charity: Two students are holding an art contest called Art for Charity where
students grades 9-12 can electronically submit their art for a chance to be donated and
featured in the Golisano Children's Hospital. The submission form is open and will close
after Wednesday 11/20 or if 30 students enter. There are three judges who will vote on
their favorite pieces of art; voting will close after Wednesday 11/27. 3-5 winners will then
be contacted by email within a week after voting and will have a week upon notice to
physically bring their art to Room 153 in Ms. Smith's room after school before 2:00pm.

Requirements:

● Any type of 2d medium artwork will be considered as long as they're appropriate


● Photography will need to print their images (size 8x10 at least)
● All types of art will need to be size 8x10 at least

FAFSA is a free application for Federal Student Aid that is used to determine students’
eligibility for post- secondary financial aid. We encourage all of our seniors to complete this
application to see if they qualify for financial assistance to help pay for college or a technical

The FAFSA will open sometime in December and the FFAA application is now open. Please
