While working with stories or analytical applications in SAC you might have come
across this thing in the filter section where you see the filters are set to MDS ALL.
Check below image

In the builder section, you can see the filters applied to the table and sometimes
mds-all is applied and you are unable to remove it. mds-all is applied in the filter
section of your story, it suggests that Multi-Dimensional Scaling is being applied to
all active filters and even though you try removing it because you don’t want mds-all
you couldn’t.

If you want to remove mds-all, you need to simply add any other member of that
dimension and then you will be able to remove the mds-all. As you can see below I
have selected other member and removed mds-all.

Now if you try to click cross to competely remove the filter, it will again by default
set to mds-all. So, inshort only by adding a new member you can remove mds-all in
SAP Analytics cloud.
