SAMACHAR NEWS APPLICATION

ABSTRACT:
As World’s technology is rapidly growing, we have a fast connection and network to instantly connect to another person. Day to day use of mobile, tablets and
laptops is increasing, and most people already have this facility. In this fast and information-oriented world we need to stay updated with every incident and news
too. This Samachar News Application is an android mobile application where users have access to the latest news. The main focus of this application is to connect
news articles from a reliable resource and deliver them to users as fast as possible in the best visual way. The main target of the project is to provide people with a
handy android application through which people can access all types of news and information. Through this application, any user can gain information or current
updates on the world and its surrounding with just one click ahead. The user does not have to visit multiple sites for different related information.

Introduction:

The introduction This news application is an Android Application used for live news and blog articles from the media. The Application was developed
to showcase material design in Android in a real application. News Feed is a simple that gives you the latest and best news from multiple sources so
you no longer need to swap between apps to stay informed. This Application is user friendly and a few features of our application are that it is a
modular, scalable, testable and maintainable app: with UI logic in Android classes. API (Application Programming Interface) is an intermediate
interface between different applications. It provides automation, immediacy, adaption and personalization. News API provides us with the source of
news articles from many different sources in one place and updates it. To expand the sources old fashioned Admin panel can be used where writers will
fill the gap of API. Samachar News is a personlised news aggregator that organises and highlights what’s happening in the world so that you can
discover more about the stories that matter to you. It is a mobile news system which runs under the Android platform. Developed with Native Java
Language make the app run fast and smoothly. Stay informed and connected with the world with our comprehensive coverage of national and
international news. From politics and business to sports and entertainment, we bring you real-time news delivered right to your fingertips.With
Samachar News, you can customize your news feed to suit your interests, ensuring that you receive the stories that matter most to you. Our team of

What is the use of NEWS API ?

News API has been used for collecting different news sources at one spot. On sending request it will give response in JSON format which
containssource id, title, description, image URL, article URL, author, time etc. We need to handle and parse this JSON into string format which is our
required format..

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the project is to provide daily news and promote awareness about the latest developments in the world by collecting information from
reliable resources available. It makes use of the required technologies to collect the required oriented information in a quicker and easier way. It is
amedia, that cover most important political, economic, social and other socially important events taking place in the world. It selects the most
significant events and monitor their development.Provide Reliable News: The primary objective is to deliver accurate and reliable news content to
users. The app aims to source news articles from trusted and reputable sources, ensuring the information presented is credible and verifiedInform and

Educate The app seeks to inform users about current events, important developments, and trending topics. It aims to educate users by providing in-
depth analysis, background information, and contextual understanding of the news stories. Customization and Personalization The objective may
include offering users a personalized news experience. The app may provide features to tailor the news feed based on users' interests, preferences, and
location, ensuring that they receive news relevant to their needs. Enhance User Experience The objective is to provide a seamless and user-friendly
experience. The app may focus on intuitive navigation, clean design, and efficient content delivery to ensure users can easily access and consume news
articles.

RELETED WORK

Native news apps are expensive and difficult to maintain. Native Publishers like BBC News or NY Times uses their own writers to manage articles and
manage it. Many native newspaper are divided because of this which causes in lack of resources from one side. Android structure provides great
capability with frameworks, libraries and APIs, with th help of it we can provide better user experience and combine this sources at one place while
maintaining integrity of its owner .“News API” provides API that returns JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) metadata for headlines and articles live
all around the world at any time . In this app we will be using this API for our better experience .

CONCLUSION

To conclude, we developed an Android Application that has tried to implement all the requirements specified in user requirements. We used various
functionalities provided by Android Studio and News API for development of this application. The app will prove to be keeping all its users up to date

with the happenings of the world. The purpose of the project is to develop an application which will display news articles and videos verified and
approved at backend. User can browse news articles and videos through various categories. App will enable user to view news details, images, and
video. This project being a basic prototype for a small model in daily News Application also leaves a lot of scope for future work, where we can
implement fake news detector on the server we are hosting, which is a machine learning model and train it to detect fake news and flag out the fake data
whichever is detected by that model before pushing it to the app.
