bit ahead and others a bit behind, due to days off, etc., but all
sections will complete all of the material, on time.

• Practice reading (English and Arabic), spelling and mental math

each night, as daily revision is important, for comprehension,
fluency, intonation and pronunciation.
• Ideas to practice spelling:
• rainbow spelling (draw a rainbow and write a word in each 7
colors)
• spelling songs
• fill in the missing letter
• unscramble
• make sentences
• hang-mouse
• spin the wheel (can find a link online)
• Reading also includes books for pleasure.
Readers are Leaders!!!
• Students who get enough sleep are more alert the next day,
and understand more of the material presented, in class,
therefore have to revise less than if they were sleepy in class.
Please go to bed early.

• Be sure to pack a healthy snack and lunch, for the next day.
• Healthy foods include fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, yogurt,
milk and water.

• As you know, chips of any kind or size are not to be brought to

school, as well as no cookies, cakes, and candies. We would
