Business Modelling with Spreadsheet

Assignment 1

Question 1

There are 5 main key factors in the business model metrics, one of which is
sales revenue. By tracking the sales revenue, an organization is able to measure and
track their financial performance. An organization is able to calculate their sales
revenue by selling their products and deducting the cost of returned items.
Furthermore, when an organization is measuring sales revenue, they have to consider
other factors such as competitor activities or changes in the market that may or may
not affect the results.

The next key factor is customer acquisition costs. Customer acquisition costs
are the costs to acquiring new customers. An organization is able to tell how much
they are forking out to acquire new customers by having this very KPI. An added
benefit of this is that organizations are able to find out if they’re overspending on
marketing, this can be seen when their market base is growing but the amount of
profits is not increasing.

The third key factor is customer churn. This is the percentage or number of
customers who have unsubscribe from your service or have stopped purchasing your
service/products for a certain period of time. It is extremely important to reduce or
eliminate customer churn for it to survive the reason being that retaining an existing
costs way lesser than acquiring new customers.

The fourth factor is customer engagement. Customer engagement is extremely

important as it can create new opportunities, boost customer awareness, increase
customer satisfaction and many more. Businesses are able to engage with their
customers and vice versa through various platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
Customer feedback also allows the business to measure the engagement with their
customers. For example, businesses are able to carry out surveys, polls and many
customers who have unsubscribe from your service or have stopped purchasing your
service/products for a certain period of time.

Customer feedback also allows the business to measure the engagement with their
customers. For example, businesses are able to carry out surveys, polls and many
more to better understand their customers wants and needs to further satisfy them.

Lastly is customer satisfaction. Businesses are able to measure customer

satisfaction with CSAT. This is a platform that can be used by business to measure
their customer satisfactory levels by providing a scale where customers are able to
show how satisfied they are. The CSAT scale can likewise be utilized to gauge
representative fulfillment which is additionally a significant measurement. All things
considered, it's the workers who are dealing with clients every day. In case they are
troubled, your clients will take note

Question 4

The first critical factor that can affect resource allocation among the five is
changes in the timeline or project scope. Changes in the timeline may occur when the
client wants a project to be completed in a shorter period of time, clients may also
