Scene: The Hilarious Shoe Fitting

Characters:

1. Cinderella – Kind, smart, but humorous and sharp.

2. Stepmother – Greedy, clumsy, full of schemes.
3. Older Stepmister (Drizella) – Overconfident, loves to show off but clumsy.
4. Younger Stepmister (Anastasia) – Shy but easily swayed by emotions, always craving
attention and recognition, although her actions are often clumsy.

Scene Begins
(The Stepmother and two stepsisters are waiting. They talk while fixing their dresses.)

Stepmother (nervously, speaking to her daughters):

"Today will change our lives. Remember, this shoe belongs to our family, no matter what
happens!"

Drizella (excitedly):
"Yes, mother! I’m sure the Prince is looking for me. Yesterday, I dreamed I was a princess. I
wore a shiny yellow dress, and everyone bowed to me!"

Anastasia (interrupting):
" But my legs are nothing like yours! I’m the one who truly deserves it!”

Drizella (mocking):
"Your legs are like chicken legs! My legs are as beautiful as a swan’s!"

Anastasia (angrily):
"How dare you say that? I’ll show you who the Prince picks!"

Drizella (sarcastically):
"Of course, it will be me! Don’t dream, little sister!"

(The Stepmother walks in, looking at them angrily.)

Stepmother (irritated):
"Shut up! The Prince is coming, and you two are still arguing!"

(Cinderella is behind, cleaning the floor, talking to herself, smiling.)

Cinderella (whispering to herself, smiling):

"Finally, everything will work out. I can stand up on my own, without lies or pretending."
Scene: The Shoe Fitting
(The Prince's servant walks in, holding the glass slipper. The Stepmother quickly stands up and
speaks sweetly.)

Stepmother (cheerfully):
"Hello, Your Highness! What an honor for the Prince to send someone here! Please sit down,
please sit down! Here it is, the moment we’ve been waiting for! Drizella, you go first."

(Drizella quickly stands up, pushing Anastasia aside and steps forward.)

Drizella (confidently):
"You don’t need to look anymore. I am the girl the Prince is looking for! My legs are so perfect,
my friends say they’re like works of art!"

(The servant tries to put the shoe on Drizella, but it’s too small. She makes a face as the shoe
squeezes her foot.)

Servant:
"Sorry, miss, but… the shoe is too small for you."

Drizella (defending):
"No, no! Yesterday it was hot, so the shoe shrank. My feet are always small!"

(She pulls her foot back, trying to stay proud. The Stepmother, annoyed, orders Anastasia to try.)

Stepmother:
"Anastasia, try it on! Don’t disappoint me!"

(Anastasia steps forward, trying to look confident but clumsy. She sits down to try on the shoe.)

Anastasia (nervously):
"My feet probably won’t fit... But I’ll try! I’ve always believed I could be a princess..."

(She tries on the shoe, but it immediately falls off and flies toward Cinderella.)

Anastasia (panicking):
"Oh no, I didn’t mean it! The shoe must be too slippery!"

(Cinderella picks up the shoe, smiles, and walks toward the servant.)

Cinderella Tries On the Shoe

(The Stepmother panics and runs to stop her.)
Stepmother (gritting her teeth, forcing a smile):
"No, no, don’t try the shoe on that girl! She’s just… a servant!"

Servant (seriously):
"By the Prince’s orders, all the girls must try on the shoe."

Cinderella (stepping forward, eyes shining with determination):

"Wasn’t it about deserving? Then let the Prince decide. There’s no reason for me not to try."

(She smiles gently, looking straight at the Stepmother, making her step back. The servant places
the shoe on her foot. It fits perfectly, sparkling.)

Stepmother & Drizella & Anastasia (shouting):

"WHAT?!"

Servant (smiling, bowing):

"Congratulations. The Prince has found his girl."

Cinderella (smiling confidently, closing her eyes for a moment to feel the moment):
"Finally, the dream is no longer just a dream. This is real. I won’t have to wait in the dark
anymore."

(She stands up, spins lightly, the glass slipper shining as she walks steadily.)

Cinderella (smiling, then turning to the Stepmother and stepsisters):

"Don’t be sad. When I become a princess, I’ll give you... new shoes. To clean better!"

(She walks away gently, leaving the three of them stunned.)

Final Scene: The Twist

(The Stepmother and two stepsisters start arguing fiercely.)

Drizella:
"See?! It’s because of me making mother angry that we lost our chance!"

Anastasia:
"You didn’t fit the shoe either, so don’t talk! Your feet are like bananas!"

Stepmother (sighing, sitting down in defeat):

"Dreams really do shatter... But, well, we still have... the attic to clean!"

(They hug and cry, with funny music playing.)
