TRAINING FOR ITI PASSED CANDIDATES DURING 2020-2024

Bharat Electronics Limited is a Navratna & India’s Premier Professional Electronics,


multi-unit, multi-product, Public sector Company under the Ministry of Defence, Government of
India.

BEL, Chennai Unit is conducting WALK-IN SELECTION for ITI candidates for
ONE YEAR Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 as per the details given
below:

MODE OF SELECTION:

 Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in


the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.

 Statutory Reservation will be as per Government norms.

 Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through E-Mail followed by publishing of list of


selected candidates in BEL Website.

INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES:

 Candidates should register their candidature for Apprenticeship on the website

 Canteen facility will be provided on chargeable basis.

 No Accommodation facility will be provided.

 No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for selection process.


 Only Indian Nationals and Candidates from Tamil Nadu region are eligible.

 ITI Candidates passed on or after 01.01.2020 are eligible to appear for walk-in
selection.

 Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit 21 years as on 01.01.2025 (Upper age limit is relaxable
by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC candidate)

 Standard of physical fitness as specified in the Schedule II of Apprenticeship Rule


1992.

PROCESS FOR REGISTRATION:

Step 1: Log on to https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/

Step 2: Click on Candidate Login/Register >> Register

Step 3: Fill all the required fields

Step 4: Click on Submit. Registration number will be generated

Step 5: Activate your registration through E-mail

Step 6: Login to your account.

Step 7: Complete your profile 100% (upload Photo, Signature, Education Documents and
Bank account details) and authenticate Aadhaar mandatorily.

Step 8: Take printout of the registration form / NAPS Enrolment Registration mail.

Candidates have to compulsorily bring the following documents in ORIGINAL for


verification and submit a copy of each while appearing for the walk-in selection:

 SSLC Marks Card / 10th Marks card.


 Aadhaar Card.
 ITI Original Marks Sheet issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) /
State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
 SC / ST / OBC Certificates (if applicable).
 ITI NAPS Registration Number / ITI NAPS Enrolment mail.

You are required to submit Application Form (enclosed along with this advertisement)
along with Xerox copies of the above mentioned documents along with passport size
photograph duly affixed on the Application Form at the time of reporting for Walk-in
Selection.
FACILITIES PROVIDED TO APPRENTICES:

 Monthly Stipend of Rs. 8050/- for Fitter, Electronics Mechanic and Electrician will be
paid during the training period.
 Subsidized Canteen facility will be provided on chargeable basis.

ADVANCED TRAINING TO APPRENTICES ON SHORT DURATION:

 Prior to completion of the Apprenticeship training (ONE YEAR), consent forms will
be obtained from the Apprentices who are willing to appear for the screening test.
 Screening trade test will be conducted for 100 marks and the apprentices who score
50% & above marks in the test will be considered for advanced training for a period of
2 years in the order of merit.
 Advanced trainees will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month
for 1st year and Rs.26,000/- per month for 2nd year. In addition to the above, an
amount of Rs. 8,000/- will be paid annually to the advanced trainees towards
policy premium and uniform charges.

GENERAL DETAILS:

 The candidates who fulfil the above criteria can appear for selection at BEL,
NANDAMBAKKAM, CHENNAI - 600 089.

 The duration of Apprenticeship Training is for ONE YEAR only.

 Stipend will be paid as per Government norms (Present rate of Stipend is Rs. 8050/-
per month).

 Reservation for SC / ST / OBC candidates will be provided as per Apprentices Act.

 Selected candidates list will be published at BEL website at the earliest.

 Candidates should not be in possession of or using any mobile (even in switch off
mode)
