34 − not divisible by 4 Look at the last two digits (tens and ones) of
4 – divisible by 4 each number. If that number is a multiple of 4
the whole number is divisible by 4.
54 – not divisible by 4
24 – divisible by 4 If the ones digit is 4, the tens digit must be even.
44 – divisible by 4 So, 4, 24 and 44 are divisible by 4 but
14 – not divisible by 4 34, 54 and 14 are not divisible by 4.
