Report: 5 Days Skill development on IOT and Machine Learning

12th – 16th June 2024

Skills and knowledge inculcated beyond curriculum education is necessary to

succeed in today’s world. Our college believes in nurturing the students into a
wholesome professional and hence our students are encouraged to undergo Value
added courses to attend skill development program. These courses student to
develop a desire to keep them updated on the latest trends and improves their
technical skills further. The recent trends and to make sure that our students are
technically stronger, these Skill Development are made mandatory for all the
students in the 6th and 4th semester. It will be a 30 hour (5 days) program.
About the Skill Development Program
Skill Development is formulated to enhance the knowledge and skill using IoT and
Machine Learning Concept for implementing Real World Applications in the field
of Communication. The Skill Development program will cover complete
understanding of IOT and Machine Learning concepts followed by hands on
sessions including applications.
Specific objectives of the Skill development program are:
 Participants will learn how to interface with IoT devices, including sensors
and actuators, through practical exercises and demonstrations.
 Explore knowledge about different wireless communication protocols
commonly used in IoT, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and LoRaWAN.
 Understand how to collect, process, and analyze data from IoT devices using
various techniques and tools.
 Understand the concept of Machine Learning with Practical Exercises.
 Opportunity to develop simple IoT applications or prototypes, integrating
hardware and software components.
Outcome:

 Understanding of IoT and Machine Learning concepts.

 Get hands-on experience working with IoT devices and implementing
machine learning algorithms.
 Participants may have developed project ideas or prototypes that they can
further explore or implement in their own work or research

MOU Signed between Karunadu Technologies Private Limited and
Cambridge Institute of Technology Bengaluru

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Karunadu Technologies and

Cambridge Institute of Technology likely outlines a formal agreement between the
two entities. Here's a typical breakdown of what such an MOU might cover:

1. Parties Involved: It specifies the names and details of the parties entering into
the agreement, which in this case are Karunadu Technologies and Cambridge
Institute of Technology.
2. Purpose: The MOU will state the purpose of the collaboration. For instance,
Karunadu Technologies might be interested in partnering with Cambridge Institute
of Technology to enhance research capabilities, collaborate on projects, or explore
academic and technological exchanges.

3. Scope: It outlines the scope of the collaboration, detailing the specific areas or
projects where both parties will cooperate. This could involve joint research
initiatives, student exchange programs, faculty development, or sharing of
resources and expertise.

4. Duration: The agreement specifies the duration for which the MOU is valid.
This could be a specific number of years or until the completion of certain agreed-
upon projects.

5. Roles and Responsibilities: It delineates the responsibilities of each party

involved in the collaboration. For instance, Karunadu Technologies might agree to
provide funding or technological resources, while Cambridge Institute of
Technology might commit to offering academic expertise or facilities.

6. Intellectual Property: Typically, MOUs address intellectual property rights,

clarifying ownership of any innovations, research outcomes, or inventions
resulting from the collaboration.

7. Confidentiality: There may be provisions regarding confidentiality, outlining

how sensitive information shared between the parties will be protected.

8. Dispute Resolution: Procedures for resolving disputes or disagreements that

may arise during the course of the collaboration are often included.

9. Termination Clause: Conditions under which either party can terminate the
agreement are specified, including reasons for termination and any required notice
period.
10. Signatures: Finally, the MOU is signed by representatives of both parties,
indicating their agreement to the terms and conditions outlined.
Finally, the MOU between Karunadu Technologies and Cambridge Institute of
Technology is a formal document that establishes the framework for their
collaboration, setting out goals, responsibilities, and guidelines to ensure mutual
benefits from their partnership in technological and academic endeavors.
