This MCQ/Quiz examination is fully online and is randomised.

The answers to the MCQ/Quiz must be submitted on the myExams platform.

The maximum duration of your attempt is 2 hours. Your exam must be

completed within the period starting from 08h00 (time when the exam starts) to
16h00 (time when exam ends) (South African Standard Time).

As this examination is invigilated with Moodle Proctoring, you will not be

able to answer this MCQ/Quiz unless you allow the site access to your
device’s webcam. Click here for instructions. You will see a message on your
screen which states: ‘To continue with this quiz attempt you must open your
webcam, and it will take some of your pictures randomly during the quiz.’ You
must tick the invigilation validation box (‘I agree with the validation process’)
before you will be able to start the MCQ/Quiz.

You have ONE submission opportunity for your MCQ/Quiz examination.

The exam is closed book.

The examination duration time (that is, 2 hours) commences as soon as you start
the examination. No additional reading time is provided.

DO NOT open your examination in multiple browser windows or tabs at the same
time. If you do so, the system will automatically submit responses on your behalf
without your knowledge. Marks awarded for automatic submissions will be final
marks.

DO NOT click your browser's back button while taking your examination.
You are at risk of losing previous responses if you use browser navigation buttons.
You should ALWAYS USE THE MOODLE NAVIGATION BUTTONS to move between
questions and to ‘Save’ and ‘Submit’.

The system will automatically save your responses as you click on the next
question.

Please note that the exam questions appear in sequential format. This
means that you will see the questions one at a time and that you will NOT be
able to go back to a previous question after you have clicked 'Next.

Students suspected of dishonest conduct during the examinations will be

subjected to disciplinary processes. Students may not communicate with other
persons (including other students) or request assistance from any person
(including another student) during examinations. Unisa has a zero tolerance policy
for plagiarism and/or any other forms of academic dishonesty.

If you are unable to submit (that is, the submission button is greyed), your
answers will automatically be submitted at the end of the examination session.

If you are unable to continue with the exam because your camera has stopped
working, log out, choose https://claw.myexams.unisa.ac.za/ on the web browser,
log in, select the module code, activate the camera and then continue with your
exam.
