The Princess and the Deer


Once, there was a deer that was so friendly. It was the pet of a lovely princess in a
faraway land.
One morning, the deer went wandering around the forest. The deer heard a loud
bang so the deer ran as fast as he could. The deer’s horn suddenly got stuck in the shrubs
and got wounded from a plant’s thorns. The deer cried for help struggling in the woods.
Meanwhile, the lovely princess wondered why the deer hasn’t come home already.
The worried princess went to the woods and looked for the deer. She heard the deer’s loud
cry and she immediately followed where the sound comes from. She found the deer,
helpless in the ground, and removed its horn from being stuck from the shrubs.
The princess was so sad of what happened to her pet. She treats her pet deer as her
best friend so she couldn’t bear seeing the deer ill and wounded. She cured the deer’s
wounds and washed its dirty body. The princess’ face glowed when she saw that the deer
playing and running around the room again. She promised to protect and take good care of
the deer forever and they lived happily ever after.
