PRESENTATAION PACKAGE

A Presentation package is a computer software package that is used to display


information usually in the form of a slide show. A Presentation Package refers to
computer software that is used to create, design, and display visual aids for
presentations. These aids typically include slides containing text, graphics, animations,
audio, and video, which can be projected to an audience or viewed on a screen.
Key Features of a Presentation Package:

1. Slide Creation: Ability to create individual slides that form a part of


the overall presentation.

2. Text Formatting: Tools to format text (e.g., font size, color, style) to
make it appealing.

3. Graphics and Multimedia Integration: Support for adding images,

POWER POINT VIEW

PowerPoint provides different types of views to work with, while a presentation is


being created. These views are:
i. Slide view
ii. Outline view
iii. Normal view or Tri-pane view
iv. Slide sorter view
v. Note view
vi. Master view
vii. Slide show

Slide View
This slide view is used to view slides one by one on the screen. In slide view you
can insert text, movie clips, sound, objects like clip art, Auto Shapes and Word Art.
 This view displays one slide at a time in full detail, allowing the user to focus on
designing or editing individual slides.
 Tools Available:
o Text Tools: Add or format text (font size, color, style).
o Drawing Tools: Insert shapes, lines, or illustrations.
o Media Tools: Add images, videos, or audio to the slide.
o Layout Tools: Adjust the slide’s layout or choose templates.
o Animation Tools: Apply animations to text or objects.

Outline View
In this view you can re-arrange your slides and bullets that you have inserted in your
slide. In this view you can see how your main points flow from slide to slide.
Displays the presentation content in a text-only outline format, showing slide titles
and bullet points.
 Tools Available:
o Text Editing: Modify titles or bullet points directly.
o Rearranging Slides: Drag and drop text to rearrange slide order.
o Indent/Outdent Tools: Adjust the hierarchy of points.
o Add/Delete Slides: Quickly insert or remove slides based on content.

Normal View
This view consists of three pane
- slide pane-to enter and edit text and objects in slides
- Outlines pane-to rearrange the slide
- Notes pane-to insert the information for the speaker or the audience.
 The default working view, showing three panes: the slide pane (main area), the
slide thumbnail pane (left), and the notes pane (bottom).
 Tools Available:
o Slide Pane Tools: Edit individual slides (add text, images, etc.).
o Thumbnail Pane Tools: Navigate between slides or rearrange them.
o Notes Pane Tools: Add speaker notes for reference during presentations.

Note View
In notes page view, you can type speaker notes to use during your presentation.
You can as well have the hard copy of your notes for reference.
 Displays slides alongside a section for adding speaker notes or additional
comments.
 Tools Available:
o Note Pane: Add or edit notes for each slide.
o Formatting Tools: Format text in the notes pane.
o Print Options: Print slides with notes for reference during presentations.
o Slide Tools: Edit the slide content directly.

Master View
A company logo or formatting you desired to appear on every slide, notes page or
handout can be done on this view.
 Allows you to create and edit the master slides that define the overall design and
layout for the entire presentation.
 Tools Available:
o Master Slide Tools: Edit fonts, colors, and placeholders for consistency.
o Slide Layout Tools: Define layouts for title slides, content slides, etc.
o Theme Tools: Apply or customize themes for the presentation.
o Background Tools: Modify slide backgrounds globally.

 4. Slide Sorter View


 Explanation: Displays miniature thumbnails of all slides in the presentation,
making it easy to reorder slides.
 Tools Available:
o Rearrange Slides: Drag and drop slides to change their order.
o Delete Slides: Remove unwanted slides.
o Duplicate Slides: Create copies of slides for reuse.
o Transition Tools: Apply or edit transitions between slides.

7. Slide Show This view is used to view the presentation on the screen. A slide
show is a full-screen display of each page in a presentation.

It Displays the presentation as it will appear to the audience, showing slides in full-
screen mode with transitions and animations.
 Tools Available:
o Navigation Tools: Move between slides using the keyboard or mouse.
o Pointer Tools: Highlight areas of the slide during the presentation.
o Annotation Tools: Write or draw on slides during the slideshow.
o Slide Timer: Keep track of how long each slide is displayed.
o Playback Controls: Pause, restart, or exit the slideshow.
