ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN PROJECT SECURE

(School’s Equipment and Facilities handling with Care Under Responsible and Efficient
teaching personnel)

I. INTRODUCTION

Educational facilities are considered indispensable to a school; they do

not only provide housing for the school but also serve as facilitating agents
for all the educational activities that take place in a school. The availability of
safe, secured and satisfactory educational facilities (i.e., site, building,
furniture, and equipment) is one of the prerequisites for the opening of a
new school. Sites should be assessed in terms of its vulnerability to various
geological and hydro meteorological hazards. Hazard-specific resilient
features that have undergone thorough feasibility and viability studies must
be incorporated in the design of the buildings or structures (Niño Relox,
PAGASA). Conversely, one of the grounds for the closure of a school is
substandard facilities (i.e., lack safe, sanitary, and adequate buildings and
site). The availability of safe, secured, adequate and satisfactory educational
facilities will support the teaching and learning processes and ultimately
improve the quality of basic education.

insufficient budget for the other ancillary rooms, other priority needs were
given attention and school clinic and school canteen were left behind.
Through the initiative of the newly installed School Head, giving attention on
the provision of School Canteen and School Clinic were prioritized. For the
sake and safety of the school children of MRES, and with the participation,
collaboration and support of the stake holders, teachers and community, the
priority projects were materialized and made it into action. School
Committees went to different private individuals to ask support, the school
head asked support to Clark Development Corporation for partnership, and it
was a great blessing for finding such a generous stake holder; the PhilExcel
Business Park Incorporation, adopted the school, all the material requested
to them were all granted. Furthermore, other priority projects were also
emphasized; the extension of right wing covered roof of stage through Local
School Board, repainting of concrete perimeter fences, repair of comfort
rooms of every classroom and replacement of main entrance gate of the
