AKULPOL – 9192 (RD POWDER)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AKULPOL- 9192 is a polymer powder for very good tensile adhesion strength on inorganic
surfaces combined with good workability. It is a co-polymer powder. It is dispersible in water
Compounds modified with AKULPOL-9192 exhibit improved adhesion, flexural strength in
bending, deformability, abrasion resistance and are easier to process. Leveling, thixotropy and
water retention are essentially unaffected. The product is ideal for use in combination with other
mortar additives intended to enhance specific properties.

AKULPOL-9192 contains a fine mineral filler as an anti-blocking agent. It is produced with


-out the addition of organic Solvent.

HANDLING AND STORAGE
AKULPOL – 9192 is a free-flowing powder, its create fine dust. Avoid dust buildup. Fine dust
sometime causes same problem. Keep away from ignition sources. Take precautions to avoid
accumulation of static charge. Practice care and caution to avoid explosive conditions.

Akulpol -9192 redispersible polymer powder should be stored in a dry and cool environment. It is
recommended to be used within 12 months. Carefully seal any open container and store them under
suitable condition. Storage in high humidity and temperature will increase the risk of blocking.
Storage under pressure should also be avoided. Use only in well ventilated areas, avoid prolong,
extensive or repeated inhalation or Contact with eye and skin

PROCESSING:
For the production of ready-mixed powders, such as dry mortars, adhesives and troweling
compounds, blend AKULPOL-9192 with the other dry ingredients in appropriate equipment.
Temperatures should not be allowed to rise excessively during mixing because otherwise the
dispersible polymer powder could agglomerate by virtue of its thermoplastic properties.
The mortar or troweling compound is prepared for use by adding the recommended amount of
water and mixing by hand or machine. Since hand mixing generates little shear force, we
recommend allowing the fresh mortar to shake for 5 minutes and then stirring it again. This is
usually unnecessary where mechanical mixers are employed.

SHELF LIFE:
Storage time should not exceed 12 months from receipt of delivery.
