Script: The 13th Warrior

Synopsis
Ahmad Ibn Fadhlan bin Al Abbas bin Rasid bin Hammad is a poet and nobleman of the
Islamic kingdom in the greatest city in the world. His life was peaceful, until one day he met a
beautiful woman who had become the wife of the caliph's prime minister. The jealous husband
reported him to the caliph, and Ahmad was made an ambassador to the far northern land of
Tossuk Vlad, accompanied by his father's old friend Melchisidek.
On his journey, Ahmad met the Vikings, also known as the Northmen. Upon entering
their camp, he heard that the Viking village was being terrorised by a beast called Wendol. As per
the Viking shaman's prophecy, thirteen warriors were needed to face the Wendol, and the last
warrior had to be a non-Viking. Ahmad, untrained in combat reluctantly accepted this task.
Together with a Viking leader named Buliwyf, although initially a stranger among the Vikings,
Ahmad soon found new courage and forged friendships with the warriors. Together, they faced
cultural and linguistic differences, uniting against a deadly common enemy. These 13 warriors
give us a sense of courage, friendship and honour that crosses differences.
We, from Group 2 of the Men's Drama Contest, will perform this action-packed and
united drama entitled: THE 13th WARRIOR.

Caliph : Do you have a problem with that?
Prime Minister: Of course my lord, I feel jealous of that.
Caliph : Well, what do you want now?
Prime Minister: I don't want to see her in this kingdom anymore.
The caliph summoned the poet (ahmad ibn fadhlan).
Caliph : Soldier, bring the royal poet to me.
Soldier : Yes, your honour.
The poet came to the Caliph.

Bulwyf : Can anyone play a victory song for me?
Melchisidek : Bulwyf would like a victory song, recite a poem or a story.
Fadhlan : You must remember something.
Fadhlan tells a story and then suddenly Bulwyf swings his sword at one of the Northmen.
