JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Role: Finance & Accounting Department: Finance & Accounting

Designation: Manager Location: Andheri - HO

Job Purpose:
To ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies, and company law requirements.
To assist planning its business operations and to ensure that all financial resources are economically
provided and efficiently used.

Key Accountabilities:

➢ Define and adhere to accounting and accounting-related policies and procedures


• Define all accounting policies and procedures and ensure adherence. (Payroll. Receivables.
Payables. Purchase policy. Capital expenditure)
• Manage the statutory audit program
• Manage financials for holding subsidiaries including international subsidiaries and consolidation
• Ensure compliance with quarterly LODR requirements
• Manage tax laws, and Legal requirements and ensure compliance.
• Board Presentations for quarterly meeting
• Preparation of Annual Report including BRSR
• Co-ordination with Statutory and internal auditors
• Audited financial statements for foreign subsidiaries and branches as per local requirement
• Ensure 100% compliance
➢ Manage Monthly closing and reporting
• Manage monthly closing and reporting

• Provide cross functional facilitation and support for execution of transactions.
• Provide data and analysis on past performance to enable realism in the planning process and to
guide setting targets
➢ Efficient Financial and Cash flow management
• Project and plan to meet the business's cash requirements through internal accruals and external
borrowing.
• Focus on free cash flow and assist the business to release cash from the operations.
• Ensuring timely deployment of funds in FD/ MF based on SOPs
• Ensure funds for capex payments

Eligibility Criteria / Desired Candidate Profile:


• Education:
Chartered Accountant
▪ Experience:
a. 8-10 years of experience in a Finance and Accounts function, Of which at least 3 years were
spent in the managerial role of the Finance function of mid-sized company.
b. Must have worked in an ERP environment.
c. Experience with listed entity is added advantage
• Pharmaceutical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of financial challenges and opportunities specific to the pharmaceutical
industry, including R&D investment and compliance.
• Global Finance Experience:
Proven experience managing financial operations in multiple countries, handling multi-currency
transactions, and navigating complex international tax environments.
• Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of financial management systems (ERP), IFRS/GAAP, and advanced financial
modelling and analysis.
• Leadership & Communication:
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills to influence and
collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams globally.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in high-growth or emerging markets, especially Africa.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Prior experience in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships in the pharmaceutical industry.
• MIS and Dashboards for Management
• Knowledge of Power BI, Excel and Analytics
