"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,

It is with immense pride and joy that we welcome you all to the much-awaited All Kerala
Cambridge School Athletic Meet 2025,chapter 1. This grand occasion is a celebration of
not just athleticism, but also of unity, sportsmanship, and the relentless spirit of excellence
that defines our Cambridge school community across the state.

As we kickstart this athletic extravaganza, let us celebrate not only the champions but every
participant who has dared to step forward, train hard, and give their best. Together, let’s cheer
for every sprint, jump, throw, and leap of faith.

As all we know,"Success is where preparation and opportunity meet, and today, we witness a
convergence of talent, hard work, and passion."

It’s an honour and a privilege to welcome you all to the grand inaugural ceremony of
the very first chapter of the All-Kerala Cambridge Schools Athletic Meet 2025!

Indeed…This day isn’t just about competition—it’s about pushing limits, uniting hearts,
and embracing the spirit of sportsmanship. It’s about showing that together, we can break
barriers and achieve greatness.

2. Welcome Address & Chief Guest Introduction

Anchor 2:
I would like to invite beloved Principal,Lecole Chempaka International, Mr. Pramod Pillai,
our beacon of inspiration and leadership to deliver the welcome address and to introduce our
esteemed Chief Guest,. Please join me in welcoming our principal .

(Principal delivers the welcome address and introduces the Chief Guest.)

3. Flag Hoisting

Anchor 1:

Thank you sir for the warm words.

It is with immense pride and excitement that we gather here today to mark the historic
occasion of the first-ever Athletic Meet of the All Kerala Cambridge School Association.
This day celebrates not just athletic excellence but also the unity, collaboration, and shared
vision of the Cambridge schools across Kerala.

Anchor 2 To inaugurate this momentous event, we begin with the hoisting of the All Kerala
Cambridge School Association Flag – a symbol of our collective commitment to excellence,
sportsmanship, and the holistic development of every student.
“As a symbol of pride and unity, let us now witness the hoisting of the flag. We request our
Chief Guest, , to kindly hoist the flag and mark the commencement of this
grand event.”

(Flag hoisting ceremony.)

Anchor 1 Watch as the flag rises, fluttering proudly in the morning breeze. It stands as a
beacon of the core values that bind us – resilience, determination, and unity in diversity. This
flag represents the spirit of healthy competition and the promise of a brighter future fueled by
teamwork and integrity.

Anchor 2 There it is – the emblem of our association flying high and strong, inspiring us to
give our best in every race, every jump, and every throw. May this first athletic meet be a
resounding success, and may it pave the way for many more such events in the future.

4. March Past

Anchor 1:

Ladies and gentlemen, the moment we’ve all been waiting for is here – the grand March
Past! This vibrant display of discipline, unity, and pride is a hallmark of every athletic
meet, showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship that binds us all together.

the grandeur of this event is reflected in the disciplined strides of our athletes. Let us now
welcome the vibrant and enthusiastic March Past by our teams. The arena is all yours!”

Leading the procession is the [Thrissur International School,] flag, carried by the flag bearer
with utmost dignity. "Let the spirit of excellence march forward as we welcome Thrissur
International School, taking the stage first, embodying resilience and grace as they proudly
represent their legacy!

Anchor 2 And here we have the [Devamatha CMI International School) proudly stepping forward
with heads held high and spirits soaring. Their crisp uniforms, synchronized steps, and determination
radiate their readiness to take on the challenges of the day. Devamatha CMI International School,
their strides echoing dedication, unity, and the relentless pursuit of victory.

Anchor 1 Next, we welcome the [The Indian Public School-Cochin]! Look at their precision, their
focus – this is the true spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie!The Indian Public School-
Cochin stepping forward, carrying with them the vibrant spirit of their institution and a promise to
shine.

Anchor 2 Following them is [King’s School, Kollam]. Their energy is infectious, and their
enthusiasm sets the tone for a day filled with incredible performances.Following . King’s School,
Kollam, with heads held high and a determination to inspire, marking their presence with honor and
pride.

Anchor 1 And now, we have [DiYES International School, Parassala], a symbol of unity and
dedication. Their coordinated moves and confident strides inspire us all! DiYES International School,
Parassala, radiating enthusiasm and a commitment to give their all.

Anchor 2 With vibrant energy, Green Valley International School, Trivandrum, marches
in, celebrating the essence of teamwork and excellence. Green Valley International School,
Trivandrum.

Anchor 1 Next in line, we have Trivandrum International School, setting the tone with
unwavering determination and confidence. Trivandrum International School

Anchor 2 Christ Nagar International School follows, where passion meets precision,
marching to the rhythm of success and camaraderie. Christ Nagar International School
with heads held high,here marches CNIS..

Anchor 1 And last, but by no means least, L'école Chempaka International, where
brilliance shines through every stride, showcasing unity and strength in every step." L'école

Chempaka International displays here the discipline, unity, and pride which are the
hallmarks of every athletic meet, showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship

5. Lighting of the Torch

Anchor 1:

ladies and gentlemen! The much-awaited moment is here – the ceremonial torch relay that
marks the beginning of this grand athletic meet! This age-old tradition symbolizes unity,
strength, and the burning passion for sportsmanship.

Anchor 2
“Sports ignite the flame of hope, perseverance, and glory. Let us now invite our Chief Guest,
Shri. K Sudarshan, IPS, to light the torch, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship.”

(Torch is lit, and the flame is carried around.)

Here comes the first torchbearer, proudly holding the flame that signifies the spirit of
perseverance and excellence. Sanjhana from Lecole Chempaka, a bronze medallist in state
level lawn tennis competition, leading the charge with grace and determination.

As the torch moves forward, it represents the passing of values—teamwork, resilience, and
determination—from one generation of athletes to the next. Look at the crowd! The energy is
infectious as the flame continues its journey around the stadium.

Anchor 1 And now, the torch is being handed over to Zia Sinu from Lecole Chempaka,
another inspiring athlete who has truly embodied the essence of dedication. She has achieved
a great feat by reaching the national levels in 10m Air pistol shooting. What an incredible
moment of connection and shared purpose!

Anchor 2: The torch has now been entrusted to Rigved S from Christ Nagar International.

Anchor 1: Yet again the torch has changed hands. Here is Medha Goutam from Christ Nagar
International, a fierce athlete with a rich history of achievements. She is priorly ranked 3 rd
and 4th in state level tennis. She has represented our own Trivandrum District in the Kerala
Inter District championship several times. She has also participated in various all India
Tennis Association ranking tournaments. She has not only scaled great heights in athletics but
has literally scaled great heights by climbing the formidable Mt. Kedar Kantha in the
Himalayan Ranges of Uttarakhand which is 12500 feet high. She also enjoys doing adventure
sports and is a certified grade 3 in white water rafting. Way to go, Medha!

Anchor 2: Here comes Faihan S, from Trivandrum International School to bear the torch. He
is a Nimble and energetic swimmer who has won bronze medal in ISSO Swimming school
National Games.

Anchor 1: And now the torch is being handed over to Advay Nair from Trivandrum
International School, a brawny athlete, who is also a bronze medallist in ISSO Swimming
school National Games.

Anchor 2: And now, receiving the torch is Joe Anto Sony from DiYes International School
who has showcased his athletic prowess when he participated in State Kids Athletics 2024.

Anchor 1: Here is Rayhan Ron from DiYes International carrying the torch, who is also a
participant in State Kids Athletics 2024.

Anchor 2 : And now, the torch is handed over to Akul Ajay the sports captain from
International School of Thrissur,

Anchor 1: Receiving the torch now is Muhammad Hassan, from International School of
Thrissur, who is the Vice Sports Captain of the School.

Anchor 2 : Now the torch is exchanged hands with Saketh Manoj Kumar from Devamatha
School, a poised athlete, who has represented Thrissur District Junior Cricket team.

Anchor 1 : And now taking over the torch is Varada Narayanan, a vigorous sportsperson and
athlete of the year awardee in the annual sports meet.

Anchor 2 : And now comes John K Varghese from Green Valley International to bear the
torch. An agile and fearless footballer, he is a member of 2 professional football clubs in the
under-18 category and has showcased his quick feet when he participated in the All Kerala
Cambridge Inter School Football Championship.

Anchor 1 : Now the torch is being handed over to Dheeraj Raj From Green Valley, an
invigorating and graceful athlete who made his name known as athlete of the year in the
annual sports meet and has also participated in the All Kerala Cambridge Inter School
Football Championship.

Anchor 2 : And now the torch shall be borne by Josiah Kenneth, from KINGS International,
an outstanding Athlete of the year in school sports meet, who is a crafty and terrific Basket
player who has participated in the Cambridge Inter School Basketball tournament.

Anchor 1: And now the torch changes hands to its final bearer, Vajra Lijin from KINGS
International, to hold the torch high in the air and spread its ever-shining light symbolizing
the message of peace, unity and friendship. Vajra, an exquisite individual, is an outstanding
athlete of the year in High Jump in School Sports meet. Let us now cheer for Vajra and all the
other torch-bearers as it is carried for one last time this day.

The torch nears its final destination – the cauldron. With every step, it ignites the hearts of
those watching, reminding us that this meet is not just about competition but about coming
together to celebrate human potential.

[Moment of lighting the cauldron]

Anchor 2 And there it is! The cauldron is lit, the flame burning bright! This marks the

official commencement of this thrilling athletic meet. Let the games begin, and may the spirit
of sportsmanship guide us all. Best of luck to every participant!"

6. Pledge of Integrity

Anchor 2:

Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for one of the most significant moments of this event –
the Pledge of Integrity. This pledge is a powerful reminder of the values we hold dear:
honesty, fairness, and respect for rules and one another.
“Let us all rise as we take the Pledge of Integrity, vowing to uphold fairness, sportsmanship,
and the true spirit of this event.

I invite Zultan Nehan Moulana and Zia Zinu the Sports Captains of Lecole Chempaka
International, to lead us in administering the oath.

I request all the representatives of the participating schools to step forward and join in this
moment of unity and commitment.”

transparency, and respect for one another. Let us honour this promise, not only throughout
this event but in all aspects of our lives. May we be guided by the light of integrity in every

7. Keynote Address by the Chief Guest

officer of unwavering determination and an exemplary leader. Sir, we are honoured to have
you with us. May I kindly request you to address the gathering?”

8. Declaration of the Meet Open

Esteemed guests, and enthusiastic participants, it is with immense pride and excitement that
we now approach the most awaited moment – the official declaration of the first-ever All
Kerala Cambridge School Association Athletic Meet open.

Anchor 1 This historic event brings together the best and brightest athletes from across
Kerala. This is the day to celebrate not just physical prowess but also determination,
perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

To formally inaugurate this grand occasion, I now invite our honourable chief guest,Mr KS
Sudarshan IPS, to declare the meet open.

(Chief Guest declares the meet open.)

9. Memento

There you have it, With those inspiring words, the All Kerala Cambridge
School Association Athletic Meet is officially open!

Anchor 1: “We now invite Ms. Sasikala Raj, Secretary of Chempaka Educational Society,
Ms. Sapnu George, Executive Director of Trivandrum International School, and Rev. Fr.
Robin Pathinarilchira, Bursar and Vice Principal of Christ Nagar International School, to
kindly come forward to present the memento to our esteemed Chief Guest.

May I also request our Chief Guest to kindly accept this token of our respect and gratitude.”

10. Vote of Thanks

“No event is complete without acknowledging the efforts behind its success. To extend a
heartfelt vote of thanks, I now invite Miss Annie Cherian, Vice principal of LCI to the stage.”
