The fee for boarders incorporates tuition and boarding costs.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

There are three payment options available.

Option 1. Each term’s fees are paid in advance on or before the first day of each term. Extra charges are
to be paid on presentation of monthly accounts.
Option 2. The entire year’s fees are paid in full on or before 15 January 2024. Extra charges are to be paid
on presentation of monthly accounts.
Option 3. The fees and projected cost of extras are paid by monthly debit order in ten equal instalments from
January to October. Should an outstanding balance be reflected after the October debit order has
been processed, the debit order will continue in November and, if necessary, be extended to
December to clear the outstanding account.

NOTE: Option 1 will automatically apply should one of the other options not be selected.

Kindly note that all cash payments are to be made directly into the school’s bank account. No cash will be accepted at
the school offices.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Besides the boarding and tuition fees, pupils generally incur extra expenses during the course of the term. Extra
charges to pupil accounts average:

College: R 12 355 per term or R 37 065 per annum


Senior Prep: R 6 185 per term or R 18 555 per annum
Junior Prep Boarders: R 2 615 per term of R 7 845 per annum
Junior Prep and Pre-Primary: R 820 per term or R 2 460 per annum

Please consider these additional costs when budgeting for and arranging payments, especially if you are doing
so by debit order.

1. Half Term: Should pupils remain in school accommodation over half term a charge will be levied to cover
costs.
2. Transport: For out of town doctors’ appointments, airport transfers on travel day, private shuttles etc.
3. Extras: When applicable, charges such as Music (excluding subject music), Remedial & Learning Support
Lessons, Tutor Group Outings, Photographs, Sport Tours, Breakages, Printing, Art or Clubs etc. will be
added to the pupil’s account if any such, or similar, costs are incurred.
4. A Rowing Levy will be levied at R6,500 per annum, to all scholars participating in the Rowing Club.
5. The IEB examination fee (excluding Cambridge A-Level registered scholars) and OA Club Life
Membership fee will be levied on Grade12s.
6. A-Level fees are levied at R20,700 (R6,900 per term) on those registered for Cambridge A-Levels,
