Some people were in a café in Paris, France. They wanted to make the world
better. One of them was a man called Baker. He wrote down his idea: practise random
acts of kindness. A random act of kindness is a kind thing that you do for someone for
no reason. You can do random acts of kindness for people you know, for example, buy
flowers for your mother. You can also be kind to a stranger, for example, give your seat
to someone on a bus. Now February 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day. All over the
world, people do kind things on this day because they want to see a smile on a person’s
face. Isn’t that a fantastic idea?

I live in a village with my parents, my brother and my sister. My

I often help to make dinner. In the evening, I do my homework,

Night workers ‡ÊË÷Ë÷’\ ÿ]⁄¬’\

We all should respect night workers. There are many hard
jobs such as nurses, call-centre workers and policemen. Nurses
have to stay late at night in hospitals. They should look after
patients all night. They behave kindly to patients and help them
to recover. Call-centre workers also answer phone calls of
people. They help them to solve their problems. They should be
also kind to people. Finally, policemen are very important for
our life. They drive around the city and make sure that people
are safe in the streets. Night workers are very useful for the
community.
Happiness for teenagers ØŒ·\Ö⁄÷’ ÎÄ]¬â’\
A teenager is someone who is between thirteen and
nineteen years old. Teenagers should use their time in a good
way. There are some tips that can help teenagers to feel happy
and to achieve their goals. First, they should get lots of rest.
Young people who sleep eight to ten hours a night are much
happier. They shouldn’t stay up late because this isn't useful for
their health. Secondly, it's important for them to spend time
with their families and make new friends because this makes
them happy, but they should choose their friends carefully.
After that, they should travel to open places. They should go to
the desert, the river or the park. Nature makes them happier.
Finally, it's important for them to remember the good things in
their life and feel pleased about them.
What you do at the weekend ƒÊeà¯\ ÏÁ]‚› Ï÷¡ ∫ „÷¬ h]Ÿ
I'm Omar. I'm a prep-school student. I'm 14 years old. I live
with my mum and dad in a small flat in Minya. At the weekend,
I'm usually quite lazy. I usually get up late. I usually spend a nice
time with my family. I usually have breakfast at 11 o’clock. I
usually have lunch with my grandparents and I sometimes stay
at their house. Their house is bigger than our flat. At night, I
often watch TV. Then, I do my homework. I go to bed late at
night.

Exam Night

Yesterday, I went on a trip to Al Azhar Park. I went with

my family. We went by car. We got up early. We arrived
at Al Azhar Park at 10 am. It was a sunny day. My father
and mother sat under a tree. We ate delicious food. We
visited the Umm Sultan Shaban Mosque. It was really
amazing. We took many photos there. We got home at
6 pm. It was a fantastic day. We were very happy. I hope
to go there again. With my best wishes.
Yours,
Omar
My hero È÷d
In the following lines, I will talk about my hero. I’m Ali. I’m
14 years old. I’m in prep 2. I live with my father, my mother and
my sister. We are a happy family. My father is my hero. I love
him very much. He is a doctor. He is 40 years old. He is clever
and kind. He helps the sick and the poor. He gets up early. He
works hard. He loves his job. Really, my father is a great person.
I want to be a doctor, too. I want to help the sick and the poor.
What makes a hero? Z◊d;í}ç’\;flŸ;◊¬û;9’\;Ô]Ëå¯\;È·]Ÿ
There are a lot of heroes around us. There are
teachers, sports players, doctors, policemen and more.
These people are heroes at their jobs. A hero is someone
who is very brave. A hero is patient, kind, smart and
lovely. He is able to help others in different ways. A
person can become a hero by saving someone who is in
danger. A hero is someone that puts people first. A hero
thinks about other people before he thinks about
himself. Firefighters are heroes. They think about saving
people. Sometimes a hero can be a teacher. He/ She can
teach you to read and write. That will make a difference
to your life. We have a lot of heroes who we're proud of
in Egypt.

Ramses II. There are four statues in front of the temple. This
place is awesome. We met a guide there. He gave us a lot of
information about the temple. There were a lot of tourists from

Random acts of kindness ÏË\Êç¡ ÏÁ3| ÿ]⁄¡^
A random act of kindness is a kind thing that you
do for someone, for no reason. Last week, our class
decided to do one act of kindness every day for three
days. First, on Monday, I bought my mother some
flowers. After that, on Tuesday, I gave my seat to an old
man on the bus. Finally, on Wednesday, I donated
money and clothes to a charity which helps disabled
people. In my opinion, doing random acts of kindness is
fantastic! So, it is important to help people in the
community.
Voluntary work È¡Êi’\ ◊⁄¬’\
Voluntary work is work you do for no money. I like
voluntary work. It’s a great job. My friends and I always do
voluntary work. I work as a volunteer for a charity which helps
to clean our local beach. On Friday, we go to the beach and pick
up rubbish. On the other hand, my friend Ali, works for a charity
which looks after old people. He looks after them and gives
them food. Finally, my friend, Samir, works for a charity which
looks after animals that are old or sick. He feeds the animals and
looks after them. In the end, I think we all should do voluntary
work and help other people.
A story you have read ]‚h^ÖÕ ÏëÕ
Yesterday, I read a story. It is called “A little
Princess”. It’s about a little girl called Sara who lived in
India. Sara’s father was rich. He sent her to a boarding
school in England. When Sara’s father died, she became
poor. The headteacher started to be cruel to Sara
because she had no money. She made her work as a
servant. Sara had to work hard every day and didn’t get
much food. Sara decided to behave well like a real
princess. She was always kind and polite to everyone.
She helped beggars and gave them food.
