Portal Creation

Go to APP Studio under this click om Channels then click on Portal.


Give name of Portal and Description.

Submit and Save.


Go to Dev Studio..
Open Records  User Interface  Portal
Click on Customer Portal. Click on Convert to composite mode.
Click on gear icon.. Beside the Harness Name.
Set Screen Layout as Content Only and Save.
After that down again double click you can get this page. And Click on
gear icon beside Section.

After that we can see Harness readonly preview double click on it.
Click on gear icon Harness name as Home and it is in private edit so
do save as and give Label name: HomeCustomer and Apply to: Data-
Portal and Click on create and open and click on Save.
Come back to previous page where Home as Section name give
HomeCustomer as Section Name in place of Home. Click on Save.

Now go to HomeCustomer Page and double click we can see the


section name as HomeMain click gear icon.
And again we see it is in private edit so click on Save as and give
Label Name: HomeMainCustomer and Apply to: Data-Portal click on
Create and Open and click on Save.

Come back to previous tab Home Customer and double click give
section name as HomeMainCustomer click on submit and save.

Now come to HomeMainCustomer and click on Convert to Full


Section Editor and Delete all Dynamic Layouts. Here you can design
your customer page, how you want. Eg
Here add 4 buttons 1.Home 2.Registration 3.My Work 4.Logout. And
adjust Buttons using dynamic layouts.
And Images in Dynamic Layout .It will visible mainpage of Customer
portal.
After that open Customer OperatorID .If not there create a New
Operator ID for Customer and open it.
Go to Records  Click on Organization Click on Operator ID
Open it.
If not there Operator ID on top right corner we can find create click
on it.
Then give short description of Operator Id: Customer and provide
Operator ID Name: [email protected] and click on Create and
Open.
Give Access Group name as ApplicationNameCustomers Click on
gear icon
Then give Application Name and Version
Then give Portal Name:Customer in Available Portals
Then give ApplicationName:Users4 in Available Roles.
If you are using savable data page or list data page or single data
page, then open User4 role, click on + sign, add ur case type class and
data class there, and give 5 to all type of access fields there . save the
role
Save the accessgroup.

And go to HomeMainCustomer section here we added 4 buttons.


For
1.Home button
Double Click and go to Actions And give event as Click and Action as
Create HarnessGo to
RecordsUserInterfaceHarnessRightclick Create.
And Give Label Name:HomeHarness and Apply to: Data-Portal and
Click on create and Open..
Then you can see Screen layout and drag section here double click on
it and give Section name where you designed the Home page section
and Save.

2.Registration button
Double Click and go to Actions And give event as Click and Action as
Create Work and give Target name as Default and Class Name as
Casetype Class. And Save. While Click in this button Case will run.

3.My Work
Double Click and go to Actions And give event as Click and Action as
Harness and Give target as Replace current and Give Class name as
Data-Portal and Harness name as Worklist. And Save

4.Logout
Double Click and go to Actions And give event as Click and Action as
Logoff and Save.
