NOTE:- Important to install Expansion Valve

01) Always direct torch flame away from valve body when brazing and wrap expansion valve body with wet rag
02) Valves may be installed in any position, but should be located as close as possible to the distributor or evaporator inlet SG - SIGHT GLASS

03) Attach the remote bulb to the suction line as close to the evaporator outlet as possible on a horizontal run. Position the bulb - Solenoid Valve
at the 3 or 4 o’clock position.
Clean surface of suction line where the remote bulb is to be attached, and then securely fasten the bulb with straps provided. - Ball Valve
04) Connect one end of the external equalizer line to the valve. Connect the other end to the suction line
slightly downstream from the remote bulb location and positioned so that it cannot siphon oil from the Ball Valve for suction line & solenoid valve for
suction line liquid line by MEP contractor

Suction line SIze : 1 5/8" x 4 Nos (FPC 30ZE) ; 1 3/8" x 2 No (FPC25ZE).


Liquid LIne Size : 7/8" x 4 Nos (FPC 30ZE); 5/8" x 2 No (FPC25ZE).
Above pipe size are recommneded for 20 mtrs. of maximum interconnection
distance between IDU & ODU and considering 6 elbows in the line.
