REFLECTING ON MY EXAM EXPERIENCE
The Journey Through Exam Week
As I sit down to reflect on the past couple of weeks, I find myself thinking about the whirlwind of exams I just completed. It all
began on Monday, 25th November, and wrapped up on Monday, 2nd December—a week-long test of knowledge,
preparation, and perseverance. While exams can be stressful, this period offered me a chance to showcase my
understanding of the subjects I’ve been studying.
The schedule was well-paced, starting off with Mathematics and Integrated Science on the first day. Tackling two such
demanding subjects in one day was no small feat, but I appreciated starting with these subjects. Math required sharp focus
and problem-solving skills, while Integrated Science tested both my theoretical understanding and practical application. By
the end of the day, I felt both challenged and accomplished.
Wednesday brought English and Business Studies: a refreshing combination of language and logic. English allowed me to
express myself through writing and comprehension, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Business Studies, on the other hand,
required critical thinking and a strategic mindset. Balancing these two subjects was an interesting shift, and I found the
change in focus helped to keep me engaged.
The week continued with French and Computer Studies on Friday. French was both exciting and nerve-wracking—it’s always
a challenge to recall vocabulary and grammar under time pressure. Computer Studies felt a bit easier, as it focused more on
concepts I’m already familiar with. I appreciated how these exams allowed me to test my abilities across both language and
technical skills.
Finally, on Monday, 2nd December, I concluded with Social Studies. This was a thoughtful way to close the week. The subject
allowed me to reflect on historical, cultural, and social topics, which I found interesting. By this point, I felt more confident in
my exam routine and was ready to finish strong.
Thoughts on the Schedule
Looking back, at the just ended academic year, one thing I might want to change is the duration of the exam period. While
the schedule was manageable, I felt that spreading the exams over a slightly shorter period would have been beneficial. A
tighter schedule might have helped maintain focus and reduce the feeling of waiting between exams. That said, the pacing
also allowed time for revision, which I appreciated.
Overall, I found the exams to be a fair representation of the material we’ve covered. They tested not just memory, but also
critical thinking and application. While some questions were more challenging than others, I felt prepared for most of what
was presented.
Lessons Learned
This exam experience reminded me of the importance of time management and consistent study habits. Preparing for
multiple subjects requires careful planning, and I’m proud of how I balanced my time. Additionally, I’ve learned to handle
exam stress more effectively by focusing on one subject at a time and trusting in the work I’ve put in throughout the term.
As I await for the results, I feel a sense of accomplishment. Regardless of the outcome, I know that I’ve given my best effort,
and that’s what truly matters.
Here’s to more learning and growth ahead!

END OF YEAR CELEBRATION
The end-of-year lunch, for all staff, was a heartwarming and memorable event. Organized
by the administration, the event was a wonderful opportunity for relaxation, bonding,
and celebration after a year of hard work and dedication.
The event began with a lively and engaging game of "Bingo Bingo." The Head of School,
in her usual approachable manner, led the activity, ensuring that everyone had a chance
to participate and enjoy. The room was filled with cheers and laughter as staff members
enthusiastically dealt with the numbers. The winners were rewarded with cash prizes,
fairly handed over by the Head of School herself. This gesture brought excitement and
added a competitive, yet friendly spirit to the occasion.
After the game, everyone moved to the dining area, which was neatly arranged with a
variety of Indian food. The meal included a mix of flavors, highlighting the rich spices and
cooking traditions of the culture. The enticing aroma of the food filled the air, and the
way it was served made it appealing to the eyes as well. The administration’s effort to
organize such a culturally meaningful dining experience was impressive and appreciated
by everyone.
As the teachers enjoyed their meal, the event transitioned into a time of reflection and
camaraderie. Teaching and supporting staff mingled, sharing stories and laughter as
they reflected on the year’s milestones. For many, it was a rare opportunity to come
together outside the usual work setting, strengthening bonds and fostering a sense of
unity.
The deputy head of school delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks on behalf of the entire
staff. He expressed sincere gratitude to the head of school and the administrative team
for organizing the event.
This end-of-year lunch was more than just a celebration; it was a recognition of the
dedication and hard work of the entire school community. After the event, staff members
left with full hearts and a strengthened sense of belonging, ready to embrace the
challenges and opportunities of the year ahead.
