I , NAME have maintained a healthy academic track record – from

school to junior college. With a 97 percent in the 12th standard, I have

been among the top few names in my college. I have also won

merit-based awards which have further encouraged my higher

secondary school studies.

My grade12 course in computer science fromEuroSchool Pune helped

me learn about various fields like artificial intelligence programming,

algorithms, and cyber-security. However, I haven’t limited my learning

to classroom lessons. I have worked on multiple software projects

along with a few of my friends. My best achievement has been


building an app and web interface for the school management. It is

being used by many schoolsunder Light House Learning in my home

district.

This has allowed me to stay in touch with the latest technology and

learn from many communities on the internet.

I’ve participated in several competitions and hackathons in my state

and have won many awards and cash prizes. Along with my team of

friends, I have also organized many such competitions in myschool

and outside.

My course has helped me lay a strong fundamental base in computer

science and now I want to gain more knowledge in the field. I believe

a graduatecourse in computer science at Imperial College UK,will help

me achieve this goal. Such a course from a global university will not

only help me get a quality education but also exposure to a wide

range of research work from around the world.

I am applying to this university because it has a proven track record of

creating some of the best professionals in the field of science and

technology worldwide. In addition, your practical teaching methods


and updated learning modules will provide me with a new learning

experience.

I have a deep interest in sustainability, green energy, and health tech.

I wish to contribute to these areas with my knowledge and skills.

I hope you will grant me the privilege of pursuing mygraduation from

your prestigious university. I look forward to your response and wish to

join a fruitful association with Imperial College UK.

SOP for Undergraduate student aspiring for engineering

degree.

I was very young when I started developing an interest in automobiles

and their parts. This appreciation for these machines remained at the

back of my mind all through the years as I grew up. I gradually

decided to study to be a mechanical engineer. After clearing my 10th

grade with excellent marks, I was sure that the engineering field would

suit me. That is why I opted for entrance coaching during my 12th

studies to crack the tests to enter the top colleges in India.


I recently came across a lot of studies and research published at your

esteemed institution. That is how I understood IIT Mumbai, it is one of

the best in the world and can help me achieve my goals. Apart from

the awards and recognitions, I also learned about students from this

institute who have attained great success in bringing glory to the

institution. All these reasons inspired me to opt for IIT Mumbai, as the

preferred institution to pursue my further studies and get an

engineering degree.

Since I already had the dream of pursuing engineering as my career, I

started taking extra interest in the coaching available for this field

through the best classes available. I have made engineering a prime

focus area in my life. That is why I can assure you that once I am a

part of your university, I will give my best to be a student worthy of

your institution. I also plan to complete my master’s in the same field. I

want to take myself to the highest levels of gaining knowledge and

wish to serve not only my country but the world too.

Just as a vehicle requires quality fuel to run smoothly and for a long,

my dream of becoming an engineer requires the best education. With


the right guidance and my skills, we can make the world a better place

to live in. I hope that you will consider my application and provide me

with a seat in your prestigious institution for a bachelor’s in

mechanical engineering.
