Installation Guide:

Norton 360

Important Note: Norton 360 Security can be installed on an Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android device,
so you need to click on the link from the device where you want to install the product.

Windows:
1. Click on the link provided in the onboarding email that you received, from your device.
2. You will be redirected to the Norton Sign in Page. Click on the Sign in Button.

3. If you’ve never used Norton before, you will need to set up a user account first, before following the
installation & activation steps for your Norton 360 Deluxe software. Alternatively, if you already have a
Norton User Account, simply follow the steps to Sign In.
4. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be presented with the Norton Activation
Page, where you will need to click on I have a product key.

5. Once you clicked on the I have a product key option, you will be presented with the screen where
you can insert your Product Key.

6. Once the Product Key has been inserted, click on the arrow to proceed to the next screen
7. Click on Skip on the Auto Renewal page
8. Click on the Feature or Application you would like to install and Click Next.

9. Once you clicked next, you will be presented with the Installation Options. You can either download
the software on the current device, or send the Download link to another device that you would like to
install the protection on.

10. Once you click on Agree & Download, The Software installation file will be downloaded and saved to
your Downloads folder or folder of your selection. Once the download completes, please run the
downloaded file from.
11. The installation will start to execute. During this process, you will be Prompted click on Install and
Authenticate the installation by the Windows User Control, click YES.

12. Once the software has been downloaded successfully, Click Install.

13. Once the Installation is completed, you will receive confirmation that your Device is Protected. Click
Setup Features.
14. Once you click Show Features, you will be presented with the Setup Wizard. If you click on Show Me,
the setup Wizard tutorial will start and take you through the various features and a brief explanation of
each component.

15. Once you have gone through the Tutorial, you will be presented with the Dashboard where you are
able to configure your settings. On the Dashboard you can View your Subscription Status, Software
Updates required, Setup your VPN and Password Manager, as well as configure your Cloud Backup.
MacOS:
1. Click on the link provided in the onboarding email that you received, from your device.
2. You will be redirected to the Norton Sign in Page. Click on the Sign in Button.

3. If you’ve never used Norton before, you will need to set up a user account first, before following the
installation & activation steps for your Norton 360 Deluxe software. Alternatively, if you already have a
Norton User Account, simply follow the steps to Sign In.

4. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be presented with the Norton Activation
Page, where you will need to click on I have a product key.
5. Once you clicked on the I have a product key option, you will be presented with the screen where
you can insert your Product Key.

6. Once the Product Key has been inserted, click on the arrow to proceed to the next screen
7. Click on Skip on the Auto Renewal page

8. Click on the Feature or Application you would like to install and Click Next.

9. Once you clicked next, you will be presented with the Installation Options. You can either download
the software on the current device, or send the Download link to another device that you would like to
install the protection on.
10. Once you click on Agree & Download, The Software installation file will be downloaded and saved to
your Downloads folder or folder of your selection. Once the download completes, please run the
downloaded file from. Click on Open when prompted to Allow the system to run the downloaded file.

11. The installation will start top execute. During this process, you will be Prompted to Authenticate the
installation with your Username and Password (This will be the details you use when Signing into the
computer.) Insert this information and click on Install Helper.
12. The installation will run and you will receive the below confirmation, that the installation was
Successful. Click on Restart to complete the installation.

13. Once the system Restart has completed, Log In to your computer and allow the systems extensions

14. Once you Allowed the Extensions, click on Continue and Allow to enable the Network Monitoring
component.

15. Once this is enabled, you will be presented with the Confirmation screen, confirming that the device is
protected and that the security has been successfully installed. You will also be afforded the option to
install the software on another device (depending on available Licenses)
 16. If you choose to not install on another device, you can click on I’ll do this later in the bottom right of
the Window and proceed to the final step.

17. Lastly, You will be redirected to the Dashboard where you will receive confirmation of your
Subscription, Device Security and where you are able to configure the Secure VPN and Password
Manager:

iOS:
1. Click on the link provided in the onboarding email that you received, from your iOS device.
2. You will be redirected to the Norton Account Page.
3. If you’ve never used Norton before, you will need to set up a user account first before following the
installation & activation steps for your Norton mobile security software. Alternatively, if you already have
a Norton User Account, simply follow the steps to Sign In.
4. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be redirected to the Apple App Store, where
you will Download the application.
5. Look for the Norton 360 Application and tap GET.
6. Use the Touch ID or Face ID to Install the application. If you do not have a Touch ID or Face ID
configured, you will be prompted to insert your Apple ID Password.

7. The application download will start.

8. When the download completes, tap OPEN.
9. Make sure to Read and Accept the License and Services Agreement, and Acknowledge the Global
Privacy Statement and click on Continue to proceed.
10. To receive Important Alerts and Notifications from the Norton Mobile Security App, tap Allow.
11. Once the initial setup completes, the My Norton screen displays the key features.
12. The Wi-Fi Security and Device Security features are enabled by default.
13. To enable the Internet Security feature, tap Internet Security

14. Once you are redirected to the Setup page, tap Set up now.
15. In the pop up alert, tap Allow.

16. When prompted, use your iOS passcode to authenticate the VPN configuration.
17. Once authenticated, your Internet Security has been configured, tap the back (<) icon in the top left of
the screen.
18. You have now Successfully installed and configured the Norton Mobile Security application on your
mobile device.
Android:
1. Click on the link provided in the onboarding email that you received, from your Android device.
2. You will be redirected to the Norton Account Page.
3. If you’ve never used Norton before, you will need to set up a user account first before following the
installation & activation steps for your Norton mobile security software. Alternatively, if you already
have a Norton User Account, simply follow the steps to Sign In.

4. Once you have completed the registration process, you will be redirected to the Google Play Store,
where you will Download the Application.
5. Look for the Norton 360 Application and tap INSTALL.
6. The application download will start.
7. When the download completes, tap OPEN.
8. Make sure to Read the License and Services Agreement, and Acknowledge the Global Privacy
Statement and click on Sign In to proceed.

9. Once the initial setup completes, the application will display the My Norton Dashboard and list the
features.
10. Tap App Security to open the setup. Tap Turn on to enable the App Security feature.

11. Once tuned on, you need to start the configuration of the VPN, tap on Go to settings and configure
the required settings that you would like to enable.
12. Select the slide to enable the settings.
13. You will need to authorise the VPN enable action, by tapping OK.
14. To enable the Security feature displayed on the My Norton dashboard, tap Security.
15. Once this is enabled, you will be taken to the Accessibility component in your Android device settings.
16. Once tapped, you will be presented with the Norton 360 Service screen. In order to have the device
fully protected, you would need to enable this by tapping the slide.
17. Once this is enabled, you will be taken to the Accessibility component in your Android device settings.

18. Lastly, to turn on all round 24/7 protection, you will need to allow the app to have full control on the
device. Tap ALLOW.
19. Once you clicked ALLOW, you will be presented with the Stay Protected Screen. Click NEXT
20. On the last screen, click ALLOW to enable the able to run in the background.
