Introduction

The creation of a portfolio website is the aim of this project. This portfolio will
highlight the person's abilities, accomplishments, and completed projects in addition
to providing information about his or her professional history and past employment
experiences. The objective is to create a visually appealing website with social
media links that accurately showcases the person's expertise. On the website, each
element is presented uniquely.

Technologies Used
This Personal portfolio website project is based on web development. This is
developed using HTML CSS and JS and the code editor used is VS Code.

 HTML – HTML file is used for creating markup of the application on the web

 CSS - CSS file is used to provide more styles to the website to make it
visually appealing

 JavaScript – JS file is used to give a proper functionality to the application


through JavaScript

 Version Control/ Deployment - Git, GitHub

Project Layout

 Nav Bar - The top of page will include a nav bar which will point to different
sections of the website which on click on will redirect the user to that
particular section.

 Header – The header section will display the picture of the user and
information about him/her and also about the user’s educational background.

 Skills and competencies - This section will represent the user’s skill and
specialization in different languages and also about the technologies he/she
has worked on.
 Projects - This section will contain the information of the projects made by
the person. Showcase of projects with descriptions, technologies used, and
links to live demos and GitHub repositories

 Experiences - This section will contain work history, roles and


responsibilities, and achievements

 Achievements - This section will show achievements of the person by


displaying the certificate achieved by the person and displaying some
information on clicking.

 Footer -This section will contain the contact information for any queries and
also social media links of the person.

 Resume – This section will contain a downloadable PDF version of resume.

SIGNIFICANCE

Significance of personal portfolio is that it is the first thing our potential employers
see, thus it has a very big importance for someone in the corporate sector. It presents
the work that represents the performance and skills as well as strengths and
weaknesses of an individual. The culmination of work that is represented in a
portfolio allows peers, mentors and potential employers to get an understanding of a
person, their passions and their work.

Future Uses of the Project

 Job Applications: Share the portfolio link with potential employers to


highlight skills and experiences.

 Freelance Opportunities: Attract clients by showcasing previous projects


and skills.

 Networking: Use the portfolio to connect with professionals in the industry


via integrated social media links.
