Cheese story saw us drooling over all things 'fromage', this season evolves into an array of foodie favorites across beloved carbs and pays homage to meals at
the table. Comfort foods are savored with handwritten slogans that hone in on the idea of recipe writing, channelling a meal shared with family and friends.
Bringing these foods to life as playful characters adds a fresh, dynamic twist.
The expressive nature of these designs invites an array of illustrative styles, but be sure to consider handwritten slogans to evoke a sense of authenticity.
Implementing the tablecloth into designs can also provide a fun way to incorporate checks and stripes.

As we look to the wider influence of the Mundane SS26 shift and in particular our call out for ‘Beautiful Banality’, this celebration of the everyday enters the
realm of kids clothing. A more demure conversational than is usually seen, items such as cups and chairs are favored as hero statements. The nostalgic
connotations of these objects could invite a more interesting story through celebration of familial favorites.

Tap into the playful nature of child’s imagination through considering underrated objects such as a cardboard box, which to the eye of a child has
boundless potential.

underwater fun! The love for all things sea life continues as a prevalent conversational for the season, the notable move on for this SS26 is the larger scale
slogans which elevate the motifs and add a distinct edge to previous years. Whilst screen printed designs are key across items such as lightweight sweats and
t-shirts, allover prints on gauzy cottons and linen blends will further capture the sentiment of ‘vacation’.

Consider spirited artistic expression such as stamp prints, lino cut and stamped designs to evoke the textures found in the sea whilst also evoking the
naive connotations of the designs.

imaginative direction. Whilst a more traditional illustrative take on the sun, moon and stars is welcomed, playful mediums such as block printed patterns
provide a level of depth and duality in the designs. Consider more unexpected placements on sleeves and trousers creating a more distinct focal point.
Newness comes when we see the designs in soft earthy tones and vivacious powerful blues.

Further enhance the dreamlike quality by incorporating tactile elements like delicate appliqué and the addition of lurex filaments.

gender-neutral options will invite a broader opportunity that also taps into narratives around kindness and positivity. For SS26, it could be exciting to explore
the more primary tones from the Mundane color palette to step away from overtly feminine designs.
