1- Most verbs have 's'
 I know the answer.  She knows the answer.
 We speak English.  Felo speaks English.
 The boys often play golf.  The boy often plays golf.

2- If the verb ends in [ch – sh – s – ss – x – o] we put 'es'


 We watch TV at night.  Oliver watches TV at night
 I always fix my car.  My father always fixes his car.
 I often go to the cinema.  David often goes to the cinema.

3- If the verb ends in a consonant + Y, the Y changes into 'ies'


 They study at night.  He studies at night.
 Boys always fly kites.  A boy always flies kites.

But if the verb ends in a vowel + Y, the Y does not change and
we add 's'
 They never play chess.  He never plays chess.

Some of the verbs can be used with the present continuous, when
the verbs are not stative (but indicate an action)

 I see her! There she is! (see = see)  a state


 I'm seeing her today. (see = meet)  an action

 These burgers taste great. (taste = taste)  a state


 He's tasting the soup now. (taste = try)  an action

 She feels better now. (feel = feel)  a state


 She's feeling the silk now. (feel = touch)  an action

2- Kiro (has – is having) a red car now.

4- We (see – are seeing) the birds now.
5- We (see – are seeing) our grandparents today.
