Event Description

costs.

Goals and Objectives

Our mission at The Color Run is to bring people together and make the world a happier,

Risk Assessment

As runners, you have a responsibility to do your best to prevent harm to yourselves, your

running partners, or members of the public.

It should be acknowledged that as runners, you owe a duty of care to not willfully injure

yourselves or others by your negligent acts or omissions. However safely organized, running

carries a certain amount of risk, and those taking part need to be aware of those risks in order

to minimize and accept them.

Much can be done in preparation before running to ensure that the risks are foreseeable and

are appropriately managed.

Please note that all runners are advised to wear proper clothes and rubber shoes.

Runners are advised to ignore any verbal abuse from pedestrians, and any confrontation

should be avoided.

and disaster situations. It aims to assist communities to prepare, plan, predict, and perform in

the event of a disaster.

become advocates for programs and help seek donations of time, money, and materials from

other members of the community. Volunteer programs encourage civic participation.

Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear

white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. Once the race is over,

the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music,

photo ops, activity booths, vendors, and more massive color throws, which create

millions of vivid color combinations.

 Color Runners vary in demographics and their reasons for running. The Color Run

caters to everyone—first-time runners to seasoned athletes. The Color Run is proud to
